I thought I was getting a great product because it was built in the USA. I was so disappointed, I had bought this for my grandsons 3rd birthday and it quit running after 2 months. My grandson son was pretty upset because he loved it and you would think paying that much it would last longer. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!

Got this for a gift for my 2 year old. He was able to figure out how to drive it and steer it. He thinks he is so cool driving around the yard. It is nice to be able to lock it into 1st gear to ensure that he does not go too fast. Our other son has the motorized tractor and they love them both!

Great toy to ride

This is one of the best investments I have made on a toy. All 4 grandchildren drive this everytime they come over. It has fast speed for the older ones and slow speed for the younger ones. It holds up to 130 pounds with no problem. Love this....Price was great too. Thanks, Wallmart

Way too expensive - paying for name

While my son is extremely happy... he turns five in about a month & barely fits in it. And my son is only average height for his age. No way could any 8 year old fit. Then the first time my son tried using the lever for the back dumping part it broke. My son loves it & he REALLY wanted the John Deere model so that's why we got it but otherwise I believe there are other models that are half the price that are just as good or better. If you don't need to buy John Deere save the money.

Fun for three year old!

My three year old LOVES this product! Rides it constantly. Battery only lasts for an hour or so though, so needs to be recharged regularly (18 hours)...I would recommend purchasing a second battery. Product is very pricey for what it is, but it has made one little boy VERY happy. The only complaints I would have would be the price, the battery issue and that the packing plastic had melted onto the parts and was quite difficult to remove, making assembly a bear. But after getting it together, it has been nothing but fun for my little guy...

Love, love, love this product!

We've had this for 2 and 1/2 years now. I cannot say enough about this! The kids ride this all over our two lots and love to follow behind daddy on his john Deere or help load twigs in the back, or just joy ride. We charge after each ride, and we get at least a a few hours of battery each time. Love, love, love this. Well worth it!

Great Ride!

My now four year old got this from his father for Christmas at the age of 7 months. His older brother who is now eight almost nine is barely outgrowing it. My four year old has been driving it since he was two. All the kids in the neighborhood love to go for a ride in this thing! It has two speeds which is great because we would allow the boys to ride in fields and if there was a bump or it was steep they could power down and get out of it. It also goes reverse. It has a handle go the passenger can hang on. The battery still has not failed me after all these years. I even kept it out doors for a whole year and didn't charge it at all and it kept up. Amazing! I love this thing and believe that when the boys outgrow it I will just pray paint it pink and give it to my niece. For three fifty it is definitely worth the price. It has lasted through four years of my older sons wear and tear as well as two almost three years of the four year olds wear and tear. Great and long lasting toy. I wish I had one as a kid. Also the boys love putting items they don't want to carry in the back like scooters, toys and somewhat heavy things or even a passenger in the back.

Worth the money

My son received this as a present when he was 3 years old. He rode it almost daily for 7 years!!! We never had one issue with it, EVER. Finally after 7 years and a 10 year old's weight it began to wear out. My daughter received a little Barbie power wheels this past year (different brand) and it only lasted a few months.... the more expensive Peg Perego John Deere is TOTALLY WORTH the extra money and will last until they outgrow it! This product was such a huge part of my sons childhood. Looking now to buy one for my daughter.

Awesome!

My son has only been able to ride this once due to winter in Michigan, but he absolutely loves it! The only downfall (and not really a downfall, more of a planning issue) is that the box says "easy assembly". It took my husband and his father (both good with tools, etc.) about 2 1/2 hours to assemble this thing and on Christmas Eve, that wasn't how they wanted to spend their time haha. However, seeing the look on our son's face made it all worth it. Also, I know it's a safety measure, but having to hold down the gear "shifter" to go in reverse is kind of a pain for a 4 year old, but he's learning. And the "fast" gear is quite fast as well, but he loves it. He now knows to go slow around turns and then he kicks it in gear :) Overall, an excellent gift from the grandparents. Would definitely recommend!

Horrible piece of crap

I bought this less then a year ago (July 2020) and it literally fell apart. Tailgate fell off, black mesh fell off, the front bumper/battery cover fell off. The battery is in a horrible spot and it’s a pain trying to get that cover on and off to charge. The battery only lasts maybe 20 mins on a full charge. It’s a piece of crap and for what you pay for it I’d expect a lot better. Plus being John Deere and peg perego I expect it to be well manufactured but it’s built terrible.
