We bought the Gator for our two children. We thought that this would be great since it was suppose to be for children 3-8 years of age. I don't know what 8 year old they measured but our 5 year old who is 4'3" doesn't even fit in the seat with it all the way back. Our 3 year old son loves it and fits perfectly however I dont know that it will last him but a year before he is to tall.

My son got it for his 2nd bday. He’s about to turn 3 now and we’re getting him the trailer to attach to the Jeep for his bday. He loves it and it’s great, absolutely no complaints. Easy to put together, battery works great and it’s great over bumps and big hills. We take it to my parents farm and he drives it around the fields and gravel roads.

my two year old son has this ride on 12 volt battery operated gator. I decided to buy it due to us having an adult diesel John Deere Gator that I have had since I was 6 years old. I wanted to carry on the tradition, and get my son used to the controls so he can one day, drive my gator. he loves this toy so much! and it entertains my son for hours a day. when he gets to drive it, he always has a huge smile on his face!

We owned this years ago for an older child and purchased it again. It works great. The only bad thing is the tires wear out quickly and it gets expensive replacing them. Also the instructions are Horrible. There are only a few things to assemble but trying to follow the instructions are a nightmare.

This has been an awesome vehicle for our grandkids, they have loved either riding in it or driving it all over our property from age 1-9. It has held up really well over the past couple years…. I had bought an extra battery but even with driving it on and off all day we never had to switch them out. One of the batteries recently went completely dead, but as much use as it’s gotten I can’t complain! Well worth the $$

Aside from having a somewhat low battery life, which is understandable, I really am disappointed in the tires. I wish they were rubber, or at least had a rubber coating. It doesn't always ride smoothly and get stuck if you have bumps in your lawn. And they're starting to get flattened more since it's cheap plastic. i've been looking around for something I can put on the outer side of the tire to help it get better traction. Other than that, my kids have a lot of fun on it.

My grandsons love riding the Gator which is great. BUT when it comes time to charge the battery you have to take most of the front of it off just to charge the battery which is VERY time consuming. Also you have to hold the shifter in reverse while you are backing up and my 3 yr old does great with it but the two 2 year olds don't understand that you HAVE to hold it in reverse to back it up. I also feel like they could have done a better job with the tires.... they are hard plastic and have trouble with traction at times, If they had put some rubber on the tires I feel like that would have solved all of the "sit and spin" situations!!! I think they will out grow this one quicker than the John Deere Tractor models - there is not a lot of leg room in them. IF I only had one child then I would buy the Tractor model over the Gator model due to them out growing the toy so quickly.

We purchased this for our son's Christmas gift so he hasn't used it yet although he screamed when we took him off of it each time. Assembly was not bad and it looks great! My husband says its inconvenient to charge the battery, you have to take off the grill to do so but its not hard.

Both this over 5 years ago and it’s still run like a new. Best gift ever specially if you have a kid that’s like to help out with yard work. Both my kids who are 7 and 4 years old like to drive it. The battery last at least 4-6 hours. Sometimes I charge it only after 2-3 days. The price seem high but totally worth it.

I bought this for my sons birthday on 4-3-17. Had the store assemble it. Brought it home 4-4-17. Charged till the charge light was green indicating full. Kids rode it for one hour. Charged over night. Would not work in morning. They are very disappointed. Have to bring it back to the store to try and exchange it for another. If the second one does the same thing I will just get my money back. This is way to expensive to be such junk!
