Battery dead after 6 months. What a piece of junk!

The battery in this didn’t last even 6 months! Total disappointment! With the cost this should not happen. We would charge the battery overnight and it would literally die in 2 minutes. A new battery is $80, which I don’t even want to buy because the same gong will probably happen. Oh and guess what the battery warranty is only 6 months, how convenient it goes out right after it’s up! My nieces have a power wheel that has been going strong for 10 months now, and it was $200 cheaper. Don’t waste your money on this!

Running strong after 5 years of use.

I bought this for my 3 year old who is now 8 (he can still ride on it but is squished in the seats) and now my current 3 year old has taken over the driver seat. It has been ran on the grass, gravel, and small hills almost daily during the summer, fall, and spring. It has the same battery and still runs strong. Very impressed, money well spent.

Freaking Awesome (Country or Not)

Look, this thing is awesome and perfect for kids 2yo- (who knows) 9yo i think is recommended (but i'm a 230 pound man and it carries me... so probably way beyond 9) I have 2 boys, 1 loves the fast setting the other doesn't. They have driven it threw mud, grass, gravel, streets, hills and this thing performs superbly. The only time it has issues is in the slow gear (as only 1 tire spins) and when they try to run it through deep mud puddles where the mud touches the chassis. (BOTH completely reasonable reasons to get stuck). (Will buy another one after a few months for my 2 yo (no more sharing yay)). In high speed both rear motors kick in and give them the nice standard grip and can spin the tires and what not (looks so cool - but does destroy the tires (haven't had to replace any tires yet, have had mine ran daily for 4 months) If you live in the country, and are complaining about the "cheap" tires. Find any other ride on with rubber tires - please... because you won't. So for those people who need more grip, here's what you do, you buy this: https://www.walmart.com/search/?query=bicicle%20fat%20tires then cut them to size and screw them into the "cheap" tires. Voila. (of course if you decide to modify the vehicle - please be wary that your child might just start popping wheelies on dry surfaces).

good product but beware

We purchased the gator for our grandson and he was 2 1/2 at Christmas and didnt really take to it right away, however come May he was able to understand how to operate. We purchased the extended warranty as it was supposed to be a "cover everthing" , Well , it doesnt, come July, THE BATTERY failed to hold charge. Called to get battery replaced, was then told "oh no, the BATTERY NOT INCLUDED, you only have 90 days on that. This is a pricey item that has to be replaced. No one would acknowledge our problem that it hadnt been used that much. Other than that he really enjoys this toy.

Very pleased with the overall product. The plastic wheels are good in the grass but lack traction on hard surface and gravel driveway. I added traction grip bands to get more traction. You have to take the front grill guard off to charge the battery but I made modifications to make charging easier.

LOVE, hours of fun

My dad wanted to get my son a Power Wheel when he turned 3. So I picked out this one because I thought the open back to put things in would be perfect for him as kids like to load up things then dump them, plus he could help his dad pick up sticks in the yard. This was 4 years ago...who knew a toy could get so much use!! We've had this 4 years and it's still going strong. It's played with all the time. It's on it's 3rd kid now and has had tons of things loaded in the back both for play and to help with yard work. The tires are bald and have been for years, but it still goes well enough. The battery is just now starting to get tired and we'll have to replace soon but as much as this has been played with over the years, I'm surprised it didn't wear sooner. This is one of the best toys bought for my kids. We've had extended family see how much it's enjoyed here and now I have 2 nephews/nieces have the same one at their house.

Runs through grass even when its wet and gravel with no issue. Ive had a 8, 4 and 2 yr old in it at one time and it wasnt slowing down.
