Okay so far. A lot of the parts seem pretty cheap. My kids get stuck a lot due to it not being as powerful as I'd hoped, goes super slow going up hills and there's no real sturdy place to grab it to pull it. Every piece seems flimsy and the battery lasts an hour if we're lucky. But my kids do love it so far, I had another Peg Perego product a couple years ago and it only lasted a year so I hope for as much as this one costs, it lasts longer.

With the help of a great Walmart associate, Larry, in the Bentonville, AR Store #1's Toy Department, I was able to make a purchase of the John Deere Gator from my home in Texas and have it picked up in-store. My son and his father-in-law put the Gator together and applied all of the decals. Be prepared for a couple of hours of assembly! Also, the battery requires 18 hours to reach a full, initial charge, so plan ahead. My grandson loves his Gator so I couldn't be happier!

Our grandson is 2-1/2 and he is having a blast! The Gator is quality built and extremely easy and safe for our grandson to drive. He is really developing motor skills and confidence level beyond his age! I would highly recommend it will bring many many hours of fun and entertainment for your family. Was not difficult to put together.

Bought this for my twin grandsons 3rd birthday. They love it! Seems to hold a charge pretty good so far, and has alot of power. Even in low gear. Slips a bit in grass, but to be expected with the plastic tires. Pretty simple to assemble. The site to store worked out GREAT. They had my item to my store the next day. Wish I would have been familiar with that option earlier, because for weeks we checked stores for availablity. Price was a bit high cosidering Costco had the same item over the summer for less than $300. Should have bought it then. They are still learning to drive it but are having lots of fun with it!

Bought this for my 2 year old son for his birthday. He has never been happier. His older brother has the tractor version and this is much bigger than that one side by side. Easy to put together - like that you can pull the gator up to an outlet and recharge the battery without removing from the vehicle as we recharge these batteries every night - the boys love to ride these daily. The other one we have had for 3 years and the battery still holds a charge so I hope this one is the same. Must charge battery for 18 hours before using for the first time, so plan ahead. I am thoroughly satisfied with this purchase - big, durable and fun fun fun for the kiddos. Walmart has it for the best price - compared for a couple of months before we bought and if you buy online and pick it up at the store they offer a better deal - over $40 cheaper using Walmarts Site to Store option. Great product by far! The kids even drive around the yard and we load the back up with sticks - so it comes with free yard work!

We have this to our kids for Christmas. So far so good, they love it and can operate everything. Out almost 3 year old cannot do the trick bed yet but I think he will be there in a few months. There are no rubber tracks on these tires which makes the wheels just spin on our sloping blacktop driveway. Seems ok on grass so far otherwise it works well.

We’ve had the originally 12v gator ride on toy for our son when he was small and it lasted 4 years no problem. We bought a Second one to replace that one for our girls and this new versions is so much nice and aesthetically pleasing. The battery’s haven’t changed much over the years, if they made them 24 volts you would get twice the run time. 12volt will work for now, we got an amazing price for it in store we could t pass up! If I could get another one for the price we paid I would definitely buy another one! The battery’s aren’t priced bad at $50 and a secondary battery is much needed when you have 2 girls. 5 stars as always we love Peg Perego products

Got this for my grandson for his 6 th birthday. His knees on right up close to steering wheel. I’m not sure about average 7 year old would have any room. The directions are terrible to put it together. ( My husband said). Other than that he loves it for now. Think he will out grow it soon

Walmart site to store works very well for me. The John Deere Gator was purchased as a birthday present for my 2year old grandson.Once it arrived the assembly was pretty easy even though the instructions are pretty vague at times. Appling all the decals is very time consumming and somewhat frustrating. They have a large backyard so it is mainly used on a grass surface & I noticed that it loses traction fairly easily ( might have to purchase the rubber traction bands for the wheels also, at nearly $400.000 they should be included) The first charge on the battery takes 18hrs so give yourself plently of time before actually putting the John Deere Gator to use. My grandson & friends where very excited and rode it constantly for about 2hrs until the battery needed recharging. In summary it would be nice if you could purchase it ready to ride but it was worth the time invested.

Bought this for my grandkids age 3. They love it! Has 2 speeds, of course they love the faster speed! Even has reverse. Tires are a little slippery on small surfaces. It struggles on a small hill in our yard. Tires just spin. Would recommend a back up battery also! They never want to get out of it so definitely ordering a second battery.
