[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is a beautiful set of very sharp knives. Love the sharpening side of the block for the large knives. The only downside is that I have very little counter space and the block is quite large. I am thinking I can store it in the pantry.

The knife block has a built in knife sharpener which sharpens the knife every time. The knives have a durable handle and easy to hold. I used the chef knife to cut a watermelon and it was a breeze.

The knives came sharp right out of the box and the self-sharpening device should keep them sharp and ready for any cooking task. The knives are easy to grip and the nice contour of the handle keeps them from slipping in your hand. The wood block is attractive and the polished steel on top will blend nicely if you have stainless steel appliances in your kitchen. Each knife is separated with the perfect amount of space that makes it easy to grab a knife out of the wood block without disturbing the others. From using the knives several times, to self sharpen, you just press down lightly while pulling the knife out of the block. It's a smooth and easy process. Great looking and there is a knife for everything you need to cut, chop, or slice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These knives are beautifully crafted and definitely sharp! They seem durable but are not too heavy to hold. I like the self sharpening feature. The draw backs for me, the block is deep and sticks out far into my work space and the knives are hand-wash only. I know I will follow the directions but will others in my home and they end up being dish washed and possibly rust?

The high carbon stainless steel blades are high-quality, strong and sharp. High carbon blades can be sharpened over and over again and maintain their strength and shape. The spring loaded sharpener is on hand and ready for the blade to be sharpened as you pull it out and as you put it away when cleaned. Serrated knife slot does not have the sharpening edges as not the damage the serrated edge, the steak knives do not have a sharpened area either but they stay very sharp through many uses. It is recommended to hand wash only to protect the blades finish and prevent rusting. Harsh chemicals and detergents can damage stainless steel coating . The block itself is made of a sturdy wood oak finish, that looks sleek and stylish in any decor. The knives cut through vegetables meat and even pineapple like butter. I was very impressed and would highly recommend this set of knives for a home warming, bridal shower, or a fabulous hostess present. This is one set of knives that will last the test of time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently tried the Calphalon knives for the first time. The knifes are stainless steel with a heavyweight wooden handle that is easy to hold. The knifes are very sharp and precise. I used the 5” Santoku knife and cut a grape like a tomato. The knife set is a great addition to my kitchen. I have several Calphalon pots already and like the quality of the kitchen products. The knife block is a good touch because it’s so much easier to simply reach for a specific knife without digging through my knife drawer. The scissors are heavy weight and have a bottle opener too. I honestly think these knives are worth having and I’m looking forward to having them for many years. I received this complimentary knife set for my honest review. I do recommend the products by Calphalon.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow! I love Calphalon products, so I was extremely excited to try their Premier 15-piece Knife Set with SharpIN™️ Edgetech. They are a great set for cooks of different levels. 4 stars because they are not made from durable and weighty German high carbon stainless steel, (they are made with Asian high carbon stainless steel) and I would have liked a bigger serrated knife. Nonetheless, they're are extremely sharp and easy to handle. The built in ceramic sharpeners are very handy! No pulling out a dull knife and needing to get out your sharpener while your food sits. That alone is a glorious feature! They are very nice looking and would make a great gift for someone just getting into cooking. I think a more intermediate cook, such as myself, would like these as a spare set. I know I will enjoy using them as a second set. The price is relatively competitive. I did look up the price though I received these free from Influenster and Calphlon in exchange for my honest review.   .

This is not only an esthetically pleasing, but it is durable, beautiful design and safe block inserts. The design versatile due to it’s design/knife inserts. I would highly recommend this knife block set.

They are very sharp and balanced well so they are easy to use. I also love the built in sharpener. So much l love with these knives! The only flaw is that they have to be hand washed. For those who stick everything in the dishwasher it’s inconvenient, but I’m sure the will be around for many years so it’s worth it.
