I was so excited to try this and then super disappointed when I smelled it from the bottle. There was some sweet and almost minty quality I hated. However, once on my skin for a while it is a lovely long lasting sandlewood that I can smell on my watch band days later. I think it is mellow enough I could wear it to work and have really fallen in love with all of the LeLabo inspired fragrances.

Its on point and its my absolute FAVORITE OF ALL MY THREE PURCHASES. Dossier did their thing with this one! Ngl the first spray, something was definitely off on the first spray, I hated it, it was tooo woody and not appealing but then it dried down, i sprayed le labo (i have a sample) on one hand and dossiers version on the other hand and I COULD NOT TELL THE DIFFERENCE. GET IT!

I had been lusting after the inspiration for Woody Sandalwood, Santal 33 since Bailey Sarian mentioned it being her signature scentAfter smelling the original I was heartbroken to look at the price tag. The scent is such a beautiful blend of incense notes, sandalwood, and the a sharp violet note that doesnt come across floral or overly sweet & instead adds a subtle clean herbal-floral note. With such an idolized fragrance, I was afraid I would be disappointed with Woody Sandalwood but to my surprise Dossier absolutely nailed it! This couldnt be closer to the inspiration scent. The only small difference is in the original I smelled a slight pickle-y note, but in Dossiers version that note is happily missing. This scent is indie-art school-cool girl vibes and I absolutely love it, its signature scent worthy. It has perfect projection and lasting power, its not too strong or too weak, and its definitely an attention getting scent. Im so thankful to have found Dossiers version, its so budget friendly compared to Santal 33 & I dont feel like Im sacrificing with the quality of Dossiers Woody Sandalwood. In addition to wearing this one on my pulse points, Ive also been adding a spray of Woody Sandalwood to my leave-in hair conditioner, it leaves my hair smelling amazing all day!

I just received my bottle today. I was so excited to spray it after reading the reviews. I am in love with this scent! I sprayed it on wrist and then started spraying it all over the house. The fragrance reminds me of a 5 Star hotel I once stayed in. I will be ordering more of this!

This should not be a blind buy!! Very specific scent its geared towards. Ive tried many others from this company and loved them. Thought I would try this because I love sandalwood... lets just say someone literally asked me to wash this off. Not for me, but can be for you. Just smell test the original first!!

I have DREAMED of finding a signature scent for years. To me, it's the peak of fanciness. I get bad headaches from most, especially sweet scents, but this one is magic. Does it smell like the real deal? Beats me, I could never afford, but does it smell fantastic? Absolutely. If you've never smelled it before, it's a great mix of a heavier (sweet?) smell and musky earth. It's so unique from others that I've smelled. It's not sharp, but more... thick? A beautiful bridge between feminine and masculine. But in a good way! I'm a classic hippy gal and never been one for scents but this fits me so perfectly. I will say, the mom I nanny asked if it was an essential oil which made me want to jump off a bridge (because ew, sorry essential oil folks but that time is over), but my husband and I absolutely love it! Really recommend if you are an enneagram 4 and value uniqueness over everything else. All I need is one to two spritz in the morning and it lasts all day long, and even then it still lingers on my clothes. If you are new to perfumes, I really recommend this one! Expect the unexpected with this one, but 100% take the leap!

I purchased this with a batch of 2 other perfumes expecting to return at least one. This one grew on me. It starts off quite strong and then fades to a woodsy softer smell as the day goes on. If you are not a fan of sandalwood def not the one for you. I ended up liking it and would repurchase.

....and I just let them think that! Smells just like the real thing, and since it is at such a better price, I can spritz as much as I wish. If I had spend hundreds on a perfume I'd be too scared to even use it! Thank you Dossier for making me smell like a million bucks.

I like to consider myself Bougie on a budget in the sense that I like nice things but not always the price tag. This fragrance just smells expensive and yet its so affordable. If youve been wanting the Le Labo Santal 33 but cant justify the price tag than this perfume is for you. Its such a classic and the scent lingers all day without reapplying!

I got this for Valentine's Day from my fiance (at my request) and it is so so good! It actually lasts. I put it on around 5pm yesterday evening to go out and i could still smell it this morning when I woke up! It's spicy and luxurious. Smells very....expensive. Can't wait to try more from Dossier.
