My 11 y/o (VERY opinionated) son hugged me on my way out the door on day two of wearing this stuff and said "if you were trying to get a guy with that scent, it would TOTALLY work with me."Cracked me up, but in all honesty, I can't get enough of this scent. It's Amazing!!

This is a tricky one for me to review. I have never smelled the original and I purchased Woody Sandalwood as a blind buy. I was curious because the original has a cult following and has turned into a cult favorite as well. I wanted to smell what all the hype was about without spending hundreds of dollars.That being said, I realize this is a unisex scent, I do think it tends to lean more towards the masculine side. I will say it smells better on the skin than in the bottle. I do not hate it, I'm just not in love with it either. I will keep it and continue to wear it, I just would not purchase this scent again after I finish off this bottle of perfume.

I have a wide variety of fragrances in my collection and cannot stop reaching for this one. Gorgeous on it's own, but plays so well with others. I love to enhance it with Musky Musk (Juliet Has A Gun Not A Perfume) and Citrus Green Apple (D&G's Light Blue). I have been stopped on the street when wearing all 3 and told I smell divine. If you like versatile, earthy scents that pair well with fresh citrus then this is a must-have.

I LOVE that I decided to give this perfume a go. I enjoy less common perfumes, and the way women described in on YouTube made it sound delicious. I was looking for a warm and pepper like perfume and this is it! Lol, I see some men in the office slightly lift their masks as I walk by...

I love this scent so much, it makes me feel fresh and sexy and people have asked me if I'm wearing the actual Le Labo Santal 33. Will definitely be buying agin, my only complaint is that I wish the scent lasted a little longer. Overall a great scent!

Gave it away because the cardamom REALLY projects on my skin. It actually smells like Indian food or something when I wear it. I let my mom try it, and the cardamom note was less pronounced on her, so it smelled like a nice, deep, well-rounded sandalwood. It's not a bad perfume, but I wish the cardamom note wasn't there. It's great on the right person, however. My body chemistry just did some weird things with this one.

This scent is very strongly woodsy; it was so strong and overwhelming that it almost reminded me of a Bath & Body Works perfume. I had high hopes for this one since it had great reviews but in the end it just wasnt for me. I think if the scent was a little less concentrated it would be fine but I could barely tolerate the scent after even 1 spray. A very masculine-leaning scent as well, though it does have some soft feminine notes.

The pickle smell goes away after a few minutes, but it really does smell like a dill pickle. I'm giving it more stars because it actually does last all day on my clothes. Lasts about half the day on my skin. Pretty impressive. Doesn't really remind me of S33. Maybe just vaguely.

I get so many compliments on this sent. Its fresh, not super floral. I only wish they offered a different packaging for my purse or travel as its hard to keep this lovely and heavy glass bottle in a clutch. Please consider making body wash and lotion so I can live in this scent always.

I LOVE this scent! I've been in the market for a new perfume and saw Alix Earle talk about this one on Tiktok and thought why not. The scent is subtle but stays on all day long. I've only worn it twice so far and have gotten complimented both times! A little goes a long way too!
