I'm not typically a woody scent wearer but sandalwood is one of my favorite base notes and I do sometimes want something relaxed and easy and this is 100% that. I hear people saying Santal 33 is what every NYC penthouse smells like and that is a perfect visual. It's the smell of Pottery Barn or Anthropologie. It's a very creamy, unisex, woody scent that lasts all day. It's amazing.

I always get compliments when I wear this one, it’s one of my main scents on rotation. Super sandalwoody and great staying power. I don’t know if it smells like the santal 33 but it smells great

If you love Santal 33 , then this is your new scent. I have been wearing this for a couple years and always get compliments.They also have room diffusers in the same scent but run out quickly so you need to buy as many as possible at once!

If you are looking for the perfect dupe with just a touch of its own identity this is it! Believe me. I’ve looked! I’ve had the original and this is the best version of it I have found. It was also my first Dossier fragrance and I’ve become a huge fan since! If it’s your first too, you are going to be instantly impressed with the quality of the bottle. The magnetic tops are such a luxurious touch. They are long lasting fragrances, with long reach silage. They are not just elevated body sprays. However the sprays are light and airy enough that you can get a heavy or airy application of your preference. Don’t hesitate. Buy this!

It smells like rotten violets mixed with lavender lavindin, ambrette, saffron and vanilla, with patchouli but not santal 33, by le labo, maybe I got a bad batch but I bought wore it gave it away, definitely more feminine leaning as a unisex, and maybe someone who is into chypre/vanilla or floral, just not all at once.

I typically love dossier Fragrance but this one is a dud for me. TBH I haven’t smelled the le labo version but this sandalwood one went on so light that I had to use 10 spritz’s and even then I couldn’t smell it on my skin or clothes. And 5 min later it was if I wasn’t wearing fragrance.

I am a long term customer of Dossier and I’ve been ordering this specific scent for 4 years. It used to be a perfect rich scent of sandalwood. I just reordered because my last bottle was empty two weeks ago and not only did the label change but the perfume also has 0 scent to it now. It smells like alcohol and nothing else. I’m heartbroken because this used to me my signature scent but now I’m stuck with a full bottle of nothing burger. Please Dossier if this got reformulated return to the old formulation!

I can say this I love Le Labo but this right here .. yeah I can’t love a lot of other dossier fragrances but not this one although it may be popular 💜

I am so upset and beyond bummed, Woody Sandalwood is my ALL TIME favorite perfume. I have never loved a perfume more in my life nor have I ever received that many compliments while wearing it. I just received the new Woody Sandalwood (new look) and clearly new scent as well.. this smells nothing like the original Woody Sandalwood. I unfortunately will be returning :(

This is really not for me. I am really not sure who it is for lol. Smells like a freshly opened jar of pickles. Tried to return and replace it, just took credits from my account with out giving anything back for this one. I don't know how this has so many good reviews, but I encourage you to do your research on this one
