My mom and I both love Santal 33 and when I told her I found a dupe she didnt believe me, I sprayed Santal on one wrist and dossier on the other and she couldnt tell the difference! It works amazing with my body chemistry. Please never discontinue this one, its so good.

Company was amazing- super fast delivery, allows returns, gives to charity etc etc. The smell though... starts out smelling like warm urine- then that goes away in about 10 minutes. Then smells like pear. Very slight woodsy notes. Didnt smell at all like the original to me. But I still appreciate Dossier so much!

Woody Sandalwood does remind me of Le Labo's Santal in that neither to me smell much of Sandalwood. It's more in the realm of Dyptique's Tam Dao -- the impression of all the things one likes about sandalwood: a warm, creamy, muskiness that is more woody than anything else. But I don't detect the rich, unmistakable heart of sandalwood -- that elusive, transcendental, singularly specific sandalwoody gorgeousness you get from the wood itself, its essential oil. For context of where I'm judging from, my favorite sandalwood right now is Tom Ford's Santal Blush -- which despite its sawdusty cedar opening, does in fact dry down to a distinctive santalum spicatum, whose slight camphorus note is mellowed out somehow to mimic more closely santalum album. I also love and sometimes layer Parle Moi's Milky Musk, which captures the creamy aspect of sandalwood without the woodier aspects. I have yet to find a fragrance that has both in the harmony I prefer. But both Le Labo's Santal and Woody Sandalwood definitely do NOT have enough sandalwood for me.

I didn't know what to expect since I hadn't used Dossier before, but I love this scent! I think it is slightly lighter than the original which could be seen as a good or bad thing depending on your preference. I usually spray a couple of times before I feel like I can smell it but it lasts all day on me. I also bought other scents but this is definitely my favorite. I've never owned or bought the original, so I can't speak to how similar they are. Nevertheless, I see this becoming my new go-to scent.

This has been such a great discovery. I want to bathe in this every day. I get so many compliments from people on this every single day. I smelled the original - it smells very close but I will be in the minority I think the replica smells better... I am not talking about performance just pure smell... I think it is better

This is only the second scent I've added to my "permanent" perfume collection - meaning it's always stocked (there's only one other scent that I consider permanent).I just purchased for a second time and bought the big bottle - I've gone through it faster than any other scent.I've gotten so many compliments, that I've scent the link to several strangers who smelled me and asked. No one knew it was a dupe.Highly, highly recommend.

I love this perfume. I was a little unsure what to expect, because I wasn't able to smell the inspiration perfume in person but this is great! I love sandal wood, so I took a risk and I'm glad I did. For me I would say this is an everyday kind of scent, and could probably be layered as its fairly mild. Finally, I cannot believe the volume of product you get for the price, its incredible. Will definitely be trying more scents.

Bought this for my fiancee. Shes received so many compliments when shes at work from coworkers and strangers, some who immediately recognized that it was santal 33, because its that similar, and other people that just really liked the smell. She cant smell it on herself as much by the end of the day but I definitely can. Im buying it again for her.

I smell this scent everywhere in NYC and I was on the hunt to find it. My friend gave me a sample of the original brand once and I absolutely loved it. I wanted a full bottle but it's pricey. I recently got the Dossier version as a gift and it's exactly like the original. It's one of the few perfumes that actually stays on for the whole day. Sometimes I even smell it on me the next day after wearing it. It smells the same as the original and has the same staying power. I'm really impressed with it and I'm excited to smell like the original without having to pay a crazy amount.

I have been wanting to try Santal 33 for awhile now, so I thought I would try the Dossier version first and I was not disappointed. The smell reminds me of a upscale spa or expensive resort. My husband and I both wear it and we spritz it on the bedsheets and around the house! Its definitely a different smell but in the best way!
