Absolutely love this scent! Its complex, earthy, and sophisticated. One of the first times I wore it out, I was immediately asked if I was wearing Santal by a cool girl I met at a party. Its a great dupe. And it lasts forever! Ill pick up sweaters to rewear weeks later and theyll still smell like I just spritzed them. Highly recommend!

Absolutely love this perfume! I ended up trying the original Jo Malone version of this perfume and was obsessed with the scent. However, it barely lasted for 2 hours on the skin and I just couldnt justify the Jo Malone price tag for that kind of staying power. THIS however is amazing!!! The scent is almost identical to Wood Sage and Sea Salt, and the staying power is even better than the original. It lasts maybe 4-5 hours on the skin and much longer on clothing. I will be repurchasing.

Was so excited to try this perfume from all the hype it got on tiktok. I usually love warm sexy scents and this perfume just smells okay imo. It smells better after it sets for awhile but I still dont love it especially with the upped price. It has a spearmint smell to it that Im not a fan of will be sending back.

Unbelievably authentic..... exact same fragrance as the real thing! I have both and will NEVER EVER pay for the real version. This smells better and even lasts longer. Friends and family cant even believe it! Im so happy with this bc I am a perfume addict! I have shared this with so many people bc I never want Dossier to go out of business. Made with all high quality ingredients. No reason to ever pay $$$ when you have this.

Maybe not quite a perfect scent for me; the woody/spice note seems very overpowering and a little overwhelming at times. But perfumes can be very different on different skins so Im giving it 4 stars because the notes are accurate. Just not for someone who prefers a more intimate skin scent.

If you don't expect Le Labo Santal 33, then you'll be happy. Compared to the original by Le Labo, Dossier's Woody Sandalwood is missing some of the warm creamy notes that take off the edge, and the opening notes of Woody Sandalwood might be too sharp for some people. That said, my husband enjoys it and contends that it is still evident on his skin when he wakes in the morning. With a concentration of 25%, Dossier's Woody Sandalwood doesn't dissipate into nothingness, and in my opinion, the dry down and the heart notes are more alluring than the opening. For some people expecting Le Labo Santal 33, this fragrance might be a disappointment, but otherwise, it stands on its own as a sandalwood and cedar fragrance (and yes, there's cedar, and at times, the cedar might recall your grandmother's blanket chest, but relax, that, too, passes...). Altogether, it's fine, but the higher Dossier price might feel unnecessary to some.

I love this scent so much, it makes me feel fresh and sexy and people have asked me if I'm wearing the actual Le Labo Santal 33. Will definitely be buying agin, my only complaint is that I wish the scent lasted a little longer. Overall a great scent!

I adore this scent! Over the past few years, I have tried out a number of different fragrances. I love a scent that is on the more feminine side of neutral. I love to pair/layer this one with Woody Oakmoss. It feels elegant, bougie, and expensive without the ridiculous price tag that is all too common with fragrances like this one. I do find myself putting on a few more sprays than I would my other perfumes which I actually prefer. I like that it isn't as intense as some others, so I can get away with 34 sprays all over my hair and body without choking people sharing a space with me.

I ordered 3 to get sale and they smell drastically different than my (many) previous orders. I wear woody sandalwood every single day (even to bed) and these three bottles I can barely even inhale without coughing. Did they change formula or did I receive a bad batch?

Gave it away because the cardamom REALLY projects on my skin. It actually smells like Indian food or something when I wear it. I let my mom try it, and the cardamom note was less pronounced on her, so it smelled like a nice, deep, well-rounded sandalwood. It's not a bad perfume, but I wish the cardamom note wasn't there. It's great on the right person, however. My body chemistry just did some weird things with this one.
