First time purchasing from Dossier and first time I am impressed with a dupe. I ran out of the original and before repurchasing I decided to try this one and am beyond happy to find that it smells exactly the same for a fraction of the price. The dupes staying power is also a lot longer so there is absolutely no reason for me to repurchase the original anymore.

In an interesting way, Woody Sandalwood feels way more aggressive early on than Santal 33. Santal 33 has a much more prominent leather accord that just made it much more masculine to me. Woody Sandalwood is much more sharp / overwhelming for a good while at first, then it smooths down into the best part of Santal 33 for me; once the leather subsides and becomes the framework for the woodiness, I can see why it becomes a fan favorite. I want to say it lasts longer than Santal 33, but that may because it's very much stronger.

Woody sandalwood is one of my favorite dossier scents. I dont have its inspiration to compare it to, but this scent is so good on its own. It lasts forever on my skin, and it wears very nicely throughout the day. Its woody and leathery but still balanced with a light finish.

I've heard good things about Dossier. After watching a review of Dossier fragrances by Curly Scents, I decided to try Woody Sandalwood. It is so much better than I expected. Note, I've never tried Santal 33. I'm just a huge fan of fragrances with wood notes that aren't one dimensional and heavy. This fragrance is perfect for warmer weather. It will work well with shorts & a tank or a sundress & sandals. I look forward to trying more Dossier fragrances.

having had the le labo Santal 33 before I was very excited to give this perfume a try and was not disappointed. initially it is significantly brighter and almost a bit citrusy when first sprayed but after a few minutes the deeper notes come out and it is indistinguishable from the original le labo perfume. 100% worth the price and will be buying again.side note- lots of reviews are saying that it smells like pickles and that must be a body chemistry thing bc it totally doesn't haha

As a previous user of Sandel 33, I can attest that the scent match is very very close. My main gripe with Dossier products is the lack of longevity. Ive tried all the tricks (unscented lotion on pulse points before application, etc.) but Im still not getting the scent to stick around for long.

I have a love hate relationship with this fragrance, I love the unique leathery fragrance, but I also dislike it. I layered with Other gourmand type fragrances and love the combo. A few of my friends love it by itself. I will definitely keep it. This last the entire day on me!

I have over 45 fragrances in my collection and THIS is my new absolute favorite of them all! I am in LOVE with this SEXY, Classy, and long lasting scent. I got this today wore it out and received SO many compliments! I am so obsessed! Im buying 3 of these my next order bc I know its going to be my new signature scent! So impressed!

Clean, cool, and woody - as someone who grew up in the desert, the smell is very homey and nostalgic. It smells like the mojave on a cold, dry night. The florals are a little strong for my liking, so I would prefer them to be toned down, but other than that it's a really incredible scent.*Disclaimer, I have not tried the Le Labo so I can't compare the two.

I get so many compliments on my Dossier fragrance with many people actually mistaking it for its inspirational scent. I also find that it lasts longer than many of the more expensive fragrances I own. Please please please restock the Creed Silver Mt. Water sub. Its one of my favorite scents of all time but Creed is overpriced and too ephemeral.
