Very good smell and longevity; however I've smelled Le Labo Santal 33 on another person before and it had more spicy depth and was darker. I think this is beautiful but it's more in line with maison louis marie No4 Bois de Balincourt, which is a fragrance I actually own.

This stuff smells AMAZING. I was a little skeptical at first but when I tried the little sample bottle, it blew my mind with how similar it was to the le labo santal 33. I almost like the after smell of this one more. It wears long, and i get so many compliments from it. Im excited to try more scents this company offers if this is the quality of all of them.

I really like this on my boyfriend and luckily he likes it too. I purchased this one with that in mind, planning to give it to him, but I ended up enjoying it on myself layered with Ambery Saffron. Together the two smell very yummy, and the violet leaves really stand out. It leans a bit more masculine on me, but i usually go for super high-femme scents so my nose just might not be used to it

I had been lusting after the inspiration for Woody Sandalwood, Santal 33 since Bailey Sarian mentioned it being her signature scentAfter smelling the original I was heartbroken to look at the price tag. The scent is such a beautiful blend of incense notes, sandalwood, and the a sharp violet note that doesnt come across floral or overly sweet & instead adds a subtle clean herbal-floral note. With such an idolized fragrance, I was afraid I would be disappointed with Woody Sandalwood but to my surprise Dossier absolutely nailed it! This couldnt be closer to the inspiration scent. The only small difference is in the original I smelled a slight pickle-y note, but in Dossiers version that note is happily missing. This scent is indie-art school-cool girl vibes and I absolutely love it, its signature scent worthy. It has perfect projection and lasting power, its not too strong or too weak, and its definitely an attention getting scent. Im so thankful to have found Dossiers version, its so budget friendly compared to Santal 33 & I dont feel like Im sacrificing with the quality of Dossiers Woody Sandalwood. In addition to wearing this one on my pulse points, Ive also been adding a spray of Woody Sandalwood to my leave-in hair conditioner, it leaves my hair smelling amazing all day!

I had a previous sandalwood fragrance that was very sweet. I wanted more of the sandalwood undercurrent without the other fragrances. Woody Sandalwood delivers, and it doesn't have that penetrating headache-inducing quality that synthetic sandalwoods can have. Some fragrances are worn for others--I wear woody sandalwood for my own enjoyment.

I just bought three perfumes, Woody Sandalwood, Woody Chestnut, and Floral Jasmine, and I decided to give my mom the Floral Jasmine one as a mother's Day gift. I hope that she will love it, but I really really Obsessed with Woody Sandalwood/Chestnut. They both smell amazing and good. I will keep purchasing in Dossier. I will love to try Citrus Tea, Musky Green Tea, and Floriental Coconut next. Hope I will love those too.

At first I wasn't sure about the event, but after wearing it on my skin, it's beautiful. It lasts a long time, without being obnoxious, and it's so sexy without being masculine. I get so many compliments on it when I wear it and it's my go-to for date night. Please don't ever discontinue this scent!

To me the scent formulation morphed after just a few sprays. What felt pleasant and consistent in the first two sprays now reads totally different and nauseatingly strong. I cant wear it without a headache now, even with one small spritz. Wish I could return but I know some people will love it.
