It has this nautical and woodsy smell. Its like sea salt and woody. It has a sweet smell to it too which I assume is the amber or violet leaves. It smells unlike anything Ive smelled before. Its a unisex scent but my husband didnt find it pleasant for himself. He really liked the citrus ginger scent. This is my 5th Dossier purchase and I love them all. I cant wait to purchase the new scents.

So I bought this blind because I though the notes sounded interesting... and that was a mistake by me. Its a very unique sent, every time I would wear it my dad said I smelled like an old sandalwood trunk, which he liked haha. It smells good but its a little to mature for me, so Ill be returning. It does have great staying power though!

You can definitely smell the sandalwood but there's also all these mystical peppery components. Really interesting and complex but still smells very clean. I do worry that it is overpowering due to all the bold components so I try to keep application minimal. Definitely not a layering scent.

I bought this because two of my friends raved about the actual perfume but I have never smelled it so I cant critique how similar this one smells. Its definitely fresh and neutral which is something I dont gravitate towards; Im usually a warm vanilla girl but trying to branch out. However my dad said he liked the fragrance and hes super picky so you know its a good one. Will be giving it a try!

Wasn't for me. it smelt like wood. I even had my sister smell it and she said the same. My mom tolerate it so I gave it to her.I've been waiting for months to order from this company cause the medical assistant at my doctor's office told me about dossier. I ordered 5 different fragrances and when I say disappointed, I mean disappointed. The scents doesn't last long like my other perfumes. For the record l'm a perfume lover.

I was honestly very nervous after I placed my order because I watched a review on YouTube and the review was very negative in comparison to the Sental33. Once this came in, it actually smelled very similar in my opinion. A great price with a great scent. I will definitely be ordering something else by Dossier very soon.

I got this one because I am a huge fan of sandalwood and thought Id love this scent. Its a really lovely perfume and definitely worth purchasing but I personally found it too earthy and a little too strong. But I mixed it with a rose perfume and that was a great combo!

I like this so much more than Santal 33! The original smells way too much like leather on me. Like straight up leather! I get no other notes. So when I found Dossiers version and its not called Leathery Leather I knew I had to try it. I smell woody and slightly spicy and not like a handbag! :)

I am a person who is skeptical when it comes to ordering parfumes online. I have heard this brand so many times but I was keep postponing. I am so glad you guys opened the first store in New York. Now I am visiting every two weeks. Santal wood is one of my favorites. I lost my mind when I smell it. I still cant believe how affordable and reliable all the parfumes are.

Clean, cool, and woody - as someone who grew up in the desert, the smell is very homey and nostalgic. It smells like the mojave on a cold, dry night. The florals are a little strong for my liking, so I would prefer them to be toned down, but other than that it's a really incredible scent.*Disclaimer, I have not tried the Le Labo so I can't compare the two.
