I like this so much more than Santal 33! The original smells way too much like leather on me. Like straight up leather! I get no other notes. So when I found Dossiers version and its not called Leathery Leather I knew I had to try it. I smell woody and slightly spicy and not like a handbag! :)

Ordered this several months ago and thought I HATED it. Got the pickle jar smell many people talk about. It gave me a headache. The dry-down smelled awful on my skin. I'm generally lazy about returning things, and it wasn't a huge dent in my wallet anyway, so I just figured I'd gotten a personal dud. I had it set aside to donate...and then read some things online about letting perfumes sit for a few months or weeks after spraying a bit to give them time to settle. [Side note: there is mixed information about how effective that is (or whether it does anything at all), but I will say it made a difference with this one.] I tried it today, almost nine months after I received it...and all of the lovely smells other people have described are coming through for me, with none of the unpleasantness. There is still a faint pickley note, but it has calmed down considerably, and I'm getting a lot more complexity on the dry down. If I understand correctly, the volume of orders from a place like Dossier means that the perfume you receive may have been mixed just before sending (so they may not have time to settle), and weather conditions on the journey can have an effect. So can time of year. So I guess... if you think you dislike something from Dossier but everything else is heavenly, AND you're lazy about returns like me, stick it in a dark drawer for half a year and try again. It's possible you still won't like it. But you might be pleasantly surprised. Other perfumes I noticed changing over time (for the better) from my Dossier orders: Ambery Saffron and Gourmand Patchouli.

I have a sensitive schnoz. Most perfumes and colognes are pungent, loud, smell too strongly of alcohol to get past it. This scent is perfection. Warm, woody, and wraps you in a hug thats reminiscent of essential oils without the slick feeling. Seriously. Buy this. Youll want to spritz it on your naked body, on your sheets, in your car. It took me 37 years to find my scent and its this! Thanks, Dossier!

I wish I could return this, but after not liking gave to my daughter who initially liked, but her husband told her she smelled like burnt wood or wood shavings for hamster cage. She lives out of town and I cannot get it back to return within 30 days. When I wore it, I smelled bug spray and it made my eyes tear up.

Why pay full price, when u can get a great collection of some amazing perfume for cheap,, I have them all, no lie male and female ask them 10 orders, given 18 away as gifts to guys and girls,, they smell good, I have some of the name brands, I ware these they are cheaper and smell just as good.. they allow u to return them,, why they are more than worth it,, TLTG Ross in YouTube,, he is the one to show me,, watch him,, he is great at explaining what it smells like.. buy them better u will like them all.

I purchased the Woody Sandalwood fragrance immediately after smelling a client of mine wearing it! I love the notes within this fragrance, however, I feel the sillage is not very long. I can apply the scent in the morning and within 5-6 hours, I feel the scent has dissipated on me, needing to be reapplied. Im not dissatisfied being the fact that it was inexpensive, but I think there could be improvements made. Overall, Im a happy customer! I will definitely buy more scents in the future!

Woody, dry, warm and much like the scent you would expect of someone who has been seated in meditation in the sunshine on the edge of the woods. Definitely unisex, definitely unique and incredibly calming. Easy to wear and garners compliments. Pair with a sweeter scent if you want to give the sweeter scent some base notes. Would also be quite wonderful with a more vanilla based scent.

This scent smells absolutely disgusting. I tried to convince myself to like it because it was an exchange and I cant return it, but my family refused to let me leave the house with it on. It smells like dirt, and nothing like Santal 33. This is my second purchase from you and the second purchase I was unhappy with. They smell nothing like the name brands they claim to be dupes for, and I am done doing business with you. This scent especially is really really bad. I cant even regift it because it literally reaks. I wouldnt give this to anyone I remotely liked.

Fabulous scent! There's just the right amount of sweetness. And something about the scents that start with the word "woody" that get me every time. Smells great when paired with Ambery Saffron. Thanks, Dossier, for the spot on pairing recommendations.

I had seen a girl review this scent on TikTok saying how great it smelt, and I also love woody/sandalwood scents. However, this scent reminds me of the smell of Coca-Cola. Something about it just doesn't smell quite right. I've only worn it once, and plan on trying to give it to someone as it just isn't a scent I want to wear.
