I ordered quite a few fragrances to try as a birthday present to myself and heard a lot of buzz about this one so why not try! It isn't my favorite- ended up loving one of the joe Malone inspired scents, but I have no doubt that many will like this scent who love the scent it is inspired by. Overall great company and love trying multiple scents and returning those that didn't work well!

This is nauseating. I like clean fragrances but this wasnt for me. Gifted to my mom thinking maybe itll smell good on someone else and I cant even be around her when she has this on. Smells like mossy pickles. Like its not bad smell its just not for me at all. I like scents like jhag, glossier you, another 13, baccarat rouge, dedcool milk, missing person. Mostly skin scents so this explains a lot.

Lovely and soft for me. I get a cooling hint of dill on the nose but don't think pickles at all, not even gourmand, it is herbal and fresh. The sandalwood grounds it and exudes a classy masculinity that I enjoy even as a woman. I don't mind wearing men's cologne, if it pleases it's worn. This is soft, woody and herbal, it dances between feminine and masculine beautifully.

I haven't smelled the real deal but I work at a candle company and we use to pour Le Labo candles, so I can truly say it does indeed smell like the candle which I guess smells like the real deal. Honestly, I never did like the scents of their candles but this is ok to wear from time to time. The fragrance lasts all day long.

This fragrance gave my boyfriend and I headaches right away. It is very strong. Maybe it would work better if sprayed lightly in the air and we just walked through it. It smells like an expensive hotel lobby. I wish I liked it more. It does have a strong dill smell which is why alot of people says it smells like pickles.

This is so close to the real deal its crazy. Honestly it took me a while to appreciate but after about 2 weeks I realized it is absolutely soooo good! A little masculine, woody, green, clean, fresh. And talk about long lasting ????? It last literally forever!!

I wanted to love this one and alllmmosst kept it, but it settled into something a bit headache inducing. I felt like I was trying to escape it after awhile and ended up having to change my shirt from where it had settled into the fabric. Seemed to be the most long lasting of the 5 scents I sampled.

Not sure about this one, not sure how to even describe scent . . at first sniff smells like tea to me ? Not floral not necessarily green, definately not sweet or warm . . just kindov an odd , sharp herb scent . . don't like it in itself, but, when sprayed with others, say amber peach for ex. , Really promoted the sweetness , Beautiful

I have NO idea what Santal 33 smells like, but I love this scent. Bought this after reading reviews and hearing about how great Le Labo Santal 33 was. Anyway, Just got it in the mail and sprayed it on. Ill see how it performs over the next few days. All in all, good experience that took longer to receive than I expected, but thats ok. Have yet to see what the wife thinks of it. :)

Omg I just sampled the Santal 33 and compared this scent and im blown away. For one, the dossier version smells better its more potent and to my nose I smell a hint of sweetness. The OG is lighter and airy although these are close in scent, im so happy I brought the dossier version. I just seems to last and projects better.
