Sometimes the testers you try in stores are cologne, or weak Eau de Toilette, so you miss some of the more subtle notes when you try them on, compared to the higher concentration you buy. For me, there is a strange top note that smells like dill pickle. I think it's the violet leaves since usually leaves are unpleasantly green to me. However, it wears down in about an hour and I enjoy what remains. I've also worn it together with Aquatic Coconut or a rich Vanille Insensee or an elegant Vetiver Fatale that I also have. It's a nice change up when I want something less feminine but pleasant, clean, with a hint of something intangiblely... arresting.

I was excited to try this scent at a fraction of the price as its inspiration. With so many recommending it, I finally decided to try it. Unfortunately for me, I didnt really get the magic when I wore it; little to no scent and what I could detect seemed like dill. As someone who doesnt like pickles it was even more off putting. I returned for an exchange as I wanted to try Dossier again since I appreciate what they are offering.

This scent smells the same as le labo. Definitely good deal. I need to say- can we stop pretending Dossier has sales. Literally it's always the same asalea Pretty obnoxious. Also the label on my bottle was wrinkled a little. Not a big deal but annoying, like can you put a sticker on straight? Cool.

I purchased this with a batch of 2 other perfumes expecting to return at least one. This one grew on me. It starts off quite strong and then fades to a woodsy softer smell as the day goes on. If you are not a fan of sandalwood def not the one for you. I ended up liking it and would repurchase.

Excellent dupe. Ive only smelled the OG once in store and wasnt a huge fan. But I wanted to retry it, and this was way more affordable. However, not sure if Im feeling this scent profile - it kinda reminds me of pickles. But if you like the OG, youll like this. I bought as a gift, but I will be returning and purchasing a different Dossier perfume.

I haven't smelled the "original" but I really liked this one. I love that it's woody and complex. I can smell it for a while after I spray it too. If you like sandalwood you will love this to layer with other fragrances. Shipping was only a few days too which was nice.

I'm sure this smells like the "inspo" it was made after, but to be completely honest- I hated this scent. I thought with the "hints of floral bouquets" it would give this a slightly softer finish but it smells like rotted wood. Maybe it's just not for me but I had a friend and some family smell it and no one liked it. BUT ( that being said), it did last a while and it definitely had the musk it referred to.

This scent is stunning. When you first spray it, it's a little intense and quite smoky and woody, but as it mellows out it becomes this irresistible scent. I've gotten so many compliments on it already and I've only worn it a few times. It also lasts a really long time -- I went to bed after wearing it one night and could still smell it faintly in the morning. Highly recommend.

If you ever wanted a dupe for Santal 33, no need to look any further. I have both and have worn both scents out on different occasions and still to date do not have a single person that can tell the difference. For that simple reason I will keep purchasing it over and over again.

I loved this one, the scent lasts a long time too on me. It's very unique, woodsy but sweet. It's definitely an acquired taste but if you love sandalwood you'll love this. I've never smelled the original but this is a great scent. It adds depth to other fragrances when layering.
