EVERY YEAR I AM WAITING FOR FORMS TO BE UPDATED UNTIL LATE JANUARY OR EARLY FEBUARY. BUT YOU EXPECT ME TO PAY FOR YOUR SOFTWARE IN NOVEMBER. THIS YEAR MY FEDERAL RETURN WAS COMPLETED ON JANUARY 13TH AND ELECTRONICALLY SENT BUT COULD NOT BE FILED UNTIL JANUARY 26TH. MY 1040-ES FORM PRINT WITH "DO NOT FILE" ACROSS THE PRINTED VOUCHER. I CAN FIND NO WAY TO PRINT THEM WITHOUT THIS PROBLEM. I REVIEWED MY COMPLETED TAX RETURN AND I CAN FIND NO REASON FOR THIS PROBLEM. CAN YOU ENLIGHTEN ME.

For the first time in years, I had a problem with the software. The customer support person was amazing!! It took quite a while and help from another expert to figure out that I had the wrong version of a Microsoft product installed on my computer. After getting the updates, I started my taxes all over again and things ran smoothly. Thank you so much Sharee!!!

GREAT PROGRAM!!! HOWEVER, THE BUTTON TO CHANGE DEDUCTION STATUS, DID NOT WORK. FORCED TO CALL TECH SUPPORT WHO WAS GREAT AND MADE A WORK AROUND BECAUSE HE COULD NOT GET THE BUTTON TO WORK EITHER. SPENT MORE THAN 1 HOUR ON THE PHONE WITH THIS ISSUE?!!

Like the software but had a terrible time getting it to download from your website, The instructions were incomplete and misleading not pointing to the correct link. After a few hours of getting errors It took another incredibly long time to get past the BOT which was aggravating and no help whatsoever. Finally I managed to bypass the bot and speak to a real assistant. He was nice and eventually resolved the issue and agreed the instructions were so difficult it took him several attempts to find the correct download link that actually worked without the annoying failure errors. The email confirmation that I was auto charged for the software had no useful instructions on how to download it. I am also disappointed that TurboTax dropped the "Its Deductable" built in software.

I purchased tlurbotax and wanted to use annually. However, your continued attempt to sell me some person who has not seen or know of my tax situation is stupid and an attempt to hide what you are and that is more concerned about how much money you can generate vs having forms competed and system functioning well. You need to fire your product manager and the head of IT for your program. It is terrrible. I will not continue to be taken advantage of by you and your alleged product. One time at end do you want to pay for some assistance would be more than adequate.

I have been a user of the desktop version of TurboTax Home & Office for several years. I find the product easy to use, the support provided is petty good although I do find the need to review federal and state publications for clarification. The pop up explanations are very helpful in terms of directing my efforts. This years Fidelity interface was terrible,downloads via Fidelity were impossible.couldn't make it work. No issues with Vanguard or Schwab. You lack interfaces with the regional banks I use. I miss not having Its Deductible information to value non cash donations.

I was surprised that TurboTax did not realize I had forgotten to include any Medical deductions this year, as I had for numerous previous years. With all the importing they do, I'd think they would notice . I found the oversight myself. Also, I had to fill in my name and address multiple time for 1099's they had imported that included that information. What happened there?

I appreciate that TurboTax carries my previous year's information forward. It saves time and ensures accuracy. However, this is the first year I ran into glitches with the software. I purchased the software and downloaded it, and did all updates that appeared. But twice, while entering state tax information, I could not get past one or two of the screens. I googled the answer, which did not appear in the TT2025 help section. Eventually I got it working and was able to file. If there are known problems, the problems should be easily explained within TT, so users don't have to search outside the program for answers.

All went well, as usual, except for the estimated tax section, as usual. My only problem is that I like to adjust my payments per quarter, some all in the first quarter, some in all quarters, and some with more in last quarter. In the state estimated section, this is fairly easy since I can go to forms and adjust them in forms. However, I cannot do that in the Federal Estimated Tax section. I have to print out the form and use white out to change the amount that I am paying. If the Federal was as easy as the state estimated tax section, that would be fantastic! My only other problem is with QBI, qualified business income. It can go from 20% to 0%, but it is very hard to trace why, and trying to find a place to import or type in UBIA (Unadjusted Basis Immediately After Acquisition). I could not find how to do this and my QBI was $0.00 instead of an amount closer to 5% or 10% of the maximum QBI. Have more screens and information about QBI deductions and input of UBIA.

TurboTax makes filing taxes relatively easy if not fool-proof. I had to file taxes in multiple states this year and TurboTax completed one state's tax forms incorrectly forcing me to go line-by-line through the individual forms to locate TurboTax's error (placing a 0 where none was needed and the field should have been left blank) then correct it.
