So I can do the income taxes for my whole family, I need to be able to e-file 7 tax returns... 5 is not enough... That is seriously lacking in your application.... it would be great if you upped the e-file amount tou allow... We have a family business run by my son and we all work in the business... so only 1 complicated business return and 6 simple individual returns...

Nothing wrong with the program or with Sam's Club. I DO NOT LIKE downloading programs. I prefer a physical product. Downloads can be hacked! What part of that do the companies NOT understand?

Everything was fine except the ability to "change" or "delete" incorrect information on the page with "Donations" and on the entrance page for Investments that had the accounts, but I could click on the button with the account name. Instead, I had to re-add that those investment accounts and the orange button above were not able to click on.

TurboTax for Home and Business handles the basics flawlessly. However, it doesn't handle single member LLC in California very well. Absolutely no guidance that leads you to CA form 568 - an essential requirement for any taxpayer that has a single-member LLC.

A once great program has turned into a confusing constant upselling services and programs... and the bonus Sam's download is useless to, I assume, most users...

i am a retired tax partner in a Big Four accounting firm, so I would be deemed to be an "expert". I have used TurboTax Deluxe for many years to prepare my income tax returns. My former firm, along with many other national accounting and law firms, has elected to pay California state income taxes (and many other states that permit it) in the firm and deduct the payments as a business expense. The payments are then allocated to current and retired partners as a credit on their state tax returns, and the credit is claimed (in California) on Form 3804-CR as an offset to the individual's state income taxes. TurboTax Deluxe does not seem to allow this form to be produced, which requires me (and all others like me) to hand prepare Form 3804-CR and then prepare corrected pages affected by Form 3804-CR, such as Form 540 page 2, line 43Form 540 page 3, Form 540 page 4 and Form 540 page 5. It also requires correcting and redoing the estimated tax vouchers for the following year.

absolutely horrible!! Never received download code. Cantacted Sams multiple times. One time they actually connected me directly to turbo tax customer service who had no idea where my order is. I also contacted software download corp by phone - they never answer phone! Contacted them by email - NO response! I had to go buy it at turbo tax website for $139. Thanks for making me spend an extra $35 plus 3 hours of my time trying to track this order down. You are terrible.

TurboTax too often asks obscure questions with "help" that does not offer useful information. I find I have to consult ChatGPT to understand what TurboTax is asking me or to understand how to use TurboTax to get all the deductions I qualify for. Too often I have to repeatedly enter the same information in the tool. I shouldn't have to enter my email address, phone number, and street address is different parts of the tool. You can assume my name and street address when I start entering my credit card information and simply give me the option to provide an alternate name and address if using an alternative payment source. This is doubly frustrating after "doing battle" with this tool for hours just to get all my information in. I've used TurboTax for years now and will seriously be considering an alternative tool or simply hiring a professional in the future.

I HATE THE AI use on your program. I have used TurboTax for many years and mostly had good experience with it, but this year has been totally different. You have made the program almost impossible to use. I know you are trying to sell extra services such as professional tax help. If I wanted to use and pay for professional tax help, I would go to a local tax professional. If you do not go back to the better program and stop using these deceitful business practices I will not use your program again, and i will also STOP using Intuit Quickbooks !

The last few years I have used Turbo Tax the HOME and BUSINESS software did not function well in tax areas most Home and Business taxpayers are less likely to use. Specifically in recording 1099-Misc received for Oil and Gas Royalties and for rare depreciation scenarios. The overrides do not work 90% of the time which would allow a trained tax person to override Turbo Taxe glitches.
