Based on a prompt fro Turbotax I decided to try filing online. Only after I had spent an hour working on my return did Tubotax tell me that can't upload your Quickbooks file using the online version. i had to start all over with a desktop return. You people suck.

I've used the PC version for many years. Now you are trying to sell the online subscription, but it does not include the ability to create more returns for different members of my household. So, the lower cost offered on the online version did not make sense for me.

I have been using TurboTax for 20+ years. It is AMAZING! HOWEVER, THIS YEAR I WAS DISMAYED TO FIND THAT I COULD NOT RIGHT CLICK TO ADD SUPPORTING DETAILS FOR CHARITABLE CONTRIBUTIONS, E.G., MULTIPLE DONATION AMOUNTS, EIN #, ETC.; AND FOR PROPERTY TAXES, E.G., NOTING ADDRESSES ON SECONDARY PROPERTIES. PLEASE RESTORE THIS FUNCTION. IT IS A BIT TIME CONSUMING BUT REALLY ADDS COMPLETENESS TO THE SUPPORTING DOCUMENTATION OF THE RETURN. Thank you! See you next year!

I could not import a W2 because the box d info was too long and on two lines. Never found an acceptable way to type it in and had to restart TurboTax for it to recover sufficiently so that I could enter the W2 by hand. Screen kept blanking and returning. TurboTax was REALLY upset.

Perhaps because I am and experienced user, I found too many of the tasks too "mickey mouse" for my liking. Also, as I no longer need the business version, I found myself answering unnecessary questions. Next year, I will drop back to a simpler version that better meets my today needs.

Very displeased with system crashes this year. Click "learn more" or click a link (print or review, business special situations) and the system crashes!!! Update ios on computer, works for a bit then another crash same issue...very glitchy and gives me low confidence! What happened to It's deductible? I liked using it for charitable donations. The initial download of the software to my laptop is not "old people" user friendly...challenging to figure out where/how to enter code...better instructions would help. The login process to pull investment information feels sketchy. I would like to review the forms before being directed to pay for state filing, not afterwards. I get that you want everyone to go to the online system, but some of us still live in rural areas with less reliable internet 24/7...personal pc access is important to continue working on taxes. Come on folks... make this work better for those of us that bought a disc and loaded it to have on our devices for so many years.

the 1099 imports failed many times and it took days before I could tune the security from internet, browser and local permission. it would post security risk if I forget which control to revert back after finishing imports too. Why you can not simply implementing import 1099 from the files downloaded directly from the bank to local?

Because I am self-employed, I find Turbo Tax to be very user friendly, easy to use and accurate. I give it the data necessary per questions asked, and the software takes care of the rest. Thank you for keeping this product bug free. Turbo Tax is a big helping hand during tax season. A reassuring factor is having tax advice is there if I need it.

This is TIRD Software.. no easy integration when it comes to using your previous years data. As you struggle to import previous years W-2 documents you have to go through weird new prompts just to get to your information which I never found on the desktop or online.. Seamless... No easy way to save the files in the format that the software needs. Like for example SAVE AS the .TAX format that you ask for... How do you produce it.. As you work on your Taxes and work with importing financial data other sections just disappear having to re-import from external financial services such as Charles Schwab.

#1 Sometimes I get into a loop where trying to correct the issues discovered during your review, #2 This year the NYS return did not ask me for the Star credit for property taxes. I eventually found where to enter the credit, but I had to search the Forms view and look through a bunch of potential entries before finding it. Also would have been great if, during the review, I was asked if I had entered the Star credit. #3 Your help site lacks detail. I suspect because you want folks to purchase additional help.
