Needs more explanation about what other aspects of your return may be affected if you opt to do something. Also needs better navigation within the app for those of us that jump around a bit. You currently have to go through so many screens to get to where you are trying to go. That feels clunky and antiquated.

Some entries in rental property, maybe other places, didn't have context menu selection of details. when transferring previous year to current, those details are really helpful as a reminder of what list of things to enter, dropping those would be a big loss. Feeling pushed to on-line version, I don't like that.

I have used Turbo Tax for years and have always given it 5 stars. But this year I was very disappointed with it. It worked wonderfully up until the time it came for me to request my refund. It said that I could request a paper check, which I did. However, I now have received a letter from the IRS saying that my refund must be done through direct deposit and requiring me to create an account with them to provide my information. I do not want to create this account and should not have had to do it. Since the "Modernizing Payments" executive order was signed on March 25, 2025, your software should have been updated so that it required me to add my banking information at that time. Why did your software not warn me that I couldn't get a paper check? I am very disappointed by Turbo Tax this year!

10 years - highly satisfied. However, there were some glitches this year. Example: asked me to enter our address but said city invalid - city was correct. This happened in a few instances throughout the program this year (not always city, just various boxes it asked to be completed during the review)

Things I hate about using turbo tax is 1. my dad helped me file my taxes and you made us both buy separate copies of your software. That is not how you advertise it. 2. The donation calculator is no longer included, and we had to list the cost of all our donations manually. 3. You charge extra for state preparation and for electronic filing. After we paid so much for the software you nickel and dimed us for another couple hundred more.

Downloading was a challenge. I needed to get help. When I finally was able to talk to a human being, the experience was excellent. He was knowledgeable and helpful. I was not able to download my information from Edward Jones, even though Turbo Tax said that I was able to. It certainly did not reflect in the return itself. Also, changing one thing during the review process, namely, I put a $0 in the form that asked if I had a business energy credit (Form 7206 I think). I had to figure out where I inputted that information and update it there instead of fixing it quickly like the other errors mentioned. This took me a while to figure it out. It should be more intuitive.

I've used TurboTax for years and it's pretty easy and straightforward. Easy to transfer the previous year's info into a new return to start... then update areas that I want to work on. My only recommendation is to make it easier to see where/how new tax laws (e.g., no tax on social security) are applied. In my case, it wasn't clear until I saw my printed 1040-SR.

After many years using TT, I am no longer sure I'll use it in the future. There were too many delays and goofy things on a couple areas. Pay for state e filing -- I wasn't able "Check back later." Try a different card -- it wouldn't let me. Never happened before.

used for a decade it does the job and no calculation errors. wish it did all of philadelphia taxes which I still do by hand. however it could use better coordination between forms as sometimes unneeded forms appear I repeat the process said forms disappear. the download of 1099 from financial institutions are far smaller and often it makes mistake, so its mostly unhelpful as in the end still requires hand fixing

It is very annoying to me that Turbo Tax does not provide modifications for 19.for the pick up contribution for State Taxes. It similarly did not provide a 502 SU this year so I have to do the filing myself. I feel if you cannot serve Maryland taxpayers fully for filing their state return, you should provide a discount.
