For the first time ever, my return was rejected because of a "The Spouse did not enter a valid Identity Protection Personal Identification Number (IP PIN)." I went back and checked and it was there. What's the deal????? Just because I didn't pay the extra $60. for tax advice????

Kept getting errors when trying to transmit tax returns even though previous checks didn't give any errors. Error messages were very vague and not helpful. Previous years, there was more information on errors with links you could click on to get more information. Now they want you to pay for help when you already purchased their software.

I am disappointed in this year's updates and changes. The step by step interview is less straight forward and leaves out items like HSA contribution questions. The deletion of It's Deductible is unacceptable and was one of the reasons I used TurboTax. The business section is difficult to navigate and not as good as years past. I am not sure I will continue to use TurboTax.

I efiled the 2025 federal and two state returns. All were accepted by the taxing agencies. Now I have to amend all three returns. TurboTax says I can't efile the state amended returns because they were submitted using TurboTax but not efiled. TurboTax is inaccurate, totally wrong. The return copies include the notices of acceptance. It is a big ordeal to have to mail three sets of dozens of redundant pages.

I have been using Turbo tax since 2006. For the most part it has been easy to use and follow. This year's update seems to have been in better shape with it's early release. No major issues. Online help and documentation of issues that have been addressed for others have been able to help me. Better this year than 2024.

the software does not do quality checks. Just discovered that my state return was filed with error. Turbo tax never cross-checked my residency with the fact that w2 showed lower amount of wages for my residency state. Or at least could have raised it as a red flag.

This is absolutely the worse program I have used. The imported tax documents are without any identifying account information to help determine from what pool values were derived. Instructions are limited and useless. Constant advertising of product add-ons is disgusting. I almost believe the product is purposely bad so to encourage selecting the tax help and auditing products.

This is about my 30th year with TurboTax and your software is accurate and user friendly. Your print selection is functional but could use more features like an easy way to print draft pages as you're working on them. It makes reporting to the IRS and Georgia Dept of Revenue very easy due to the great interfaces.

Asks user to manually fill out information from a 2024 return done on TurboTax and provided to Turbotax 2025 while Intuit claims there is more risk of errors with manual entries. It does this with quite a few items in Federal and a lot of in California return. Also at lot of places it does not provide guidance and refers user to IRS publication!!! Help section sucks and has gotten worse than in past!

It is very annoying to me that Turbo Tax does not provide modifications for 19.for the pick up contribution for State Taxes. It similarly did not provide a 502 SU this year so I have to do the filing myself. I feel if you cannot serve Maryland taxpayers fully for filing their state return, you should provide a discount.
