I have been using Turbo Tax for over 10 years to file my federal and state taxes. The past five years I have used the Turbo Tax Home & Business software edition. The application allows for a step-by-step walk through of all possible situations. The instructions are easy to follow and inputting the data as needed. It is also easy to make changes if you forget something along the way and it applies those changes to all the coinciding forms automatically. The built-in final review processes also provide another opportunity to check, verify, and print your returns before you finalize filing your return. I would strongly recommend Turbo Tax for anyone who does taxes for their home or business.

The pagination of the generated PDF forms are not lined up correctly; a "smart" worksheet often contains unrelated information on one sheet which is difficult for proper filing and printing. Still many confusing areas and questions most commonly in the area of IRA withdrawals.

I identified a material calculation error (a Schedule A double deduction erroneously populated by TurboTax). I tried calling TurboTax to advise of the error. After 40 minutes on hold, I was then transferred to "Technical" so they could help me with my "user" error. It was evident there was no comprehension that TurboTax had the calculation error. My call was then dropped. There was no call back even though that information was collected at the beginning of the call.

after many years, this is still just a so-so software. Answers to questions can never be found and always take you to the web to try and search them out, and always takes you no where you were looking for. There should be a LOT moecear expalantions when it comes to deductions instead of just some general ideas. I also HATE that this software does not allow more useful tools. Everything is robotic and you can never find the answers you are looking for

it was very difficult to get started. i followed the "Let's get started" it was so difficult to get to the steps to install and activate my software where I enter my license code. NOT USER FRIENDLY. Turbo Tax shouldn't be trying to sell me what I've already purchased. VERY AGRIVATING! I've used Turbo tax for many years and all I can say is you make it more difficult each year. I'm really thinking I may want to quit using Turbo tax.

I have used TurboTax for over 10 years. I have never had a problem and for the most part, I love it. However, in the last couple of years I find the software is becoming less user friendly and more difficult to navigate. There is also less explanation available on some topics, and even after I read an explanation, I am still in the dark.

Unfortunately, the 2025 version of TurboTax is extremely buggy. I have used Intuit for over 20 years and have never experienced so many issues and challenges with the software. I purchased the MAC desktop version because of special filing of community income, and it was a total disaster. I had to figure out how to work around the program to get the forms filled accurately. In addition, the download features were very delayed and buggy as well. I finally had to manually fill my forms from my financial institutions to ensure accuracy.

had heck ting to get the newest copy your website would not allow me to update my visa and once i did buy it it did not get credit to my account instead I received an email asking me to update my payment so it could be charged for what I already had and then an update lost the links to my filled out Tax return and I had to manually find it and open it so TurboTax would know where it was all in all i wasted over a week working thru problems with TurboTax it was a waste of money in fact all the work I had to do to get my taxes done I figure TurboTax owes me but I will not hold my breath cause y'all think you are good, your noy juts better than the alternates I had time to look art i will definitely be looking for more next year.

Been using Turbo Tax for many years. Wouldn't want to use anything else. It's nice to be able to populate my current years return with past information instead of having to start over every year. One recommendation would be to allow for the option to call a Turbo Tax representative and ask a question without having to pay to do it. Even if you were limited to a certain number of questions that would be okay. Sometimes with all the changes it would be nice to be able to know you are a phone call away.

I am on hold to speak to a rep because I cannot file my NY State return electronically now. Turbo Tax didn't have final forms for NYS when I filed my Federal return electronically on February 2, 2026.when the final NY State updates were ready you wouldn't let me file the state return electronically because the program would not allow it without the federal return, which had already been filed and accepted. The glitch in your program is blocking my filing of NY State.
