First time to do an amended return. It was confusing to file. I appears that it was all filed electronically, to include the IRS and state debiting the same bank account that was previously used for refunds. But your instructions said I had to print, write a check, and mail the amended return. Which is it? Pick one and then be clear about it. I am not sure where I stand on being done. Leaves me questioning TurboTax. Not good.

I had multiple foreign taxes on dividends. T.Tax would not take multiple countries to which tax was paid. I filed with incorrect information as it was a deduction that probably would not have made a difference. Is slow to load and takes way to long to update. Makes me think you're collecting data from my computer

I love Turbo Tax. I've been doing mine and others taxes for years now. The biggest problem was, that I had to get a new computer in order to do taxes this year, because I have Windows 10 and I needed a Windows 11. This added expense was not what I was needing in this economy, along with the expense of the program.

Kept getting errors when trying to transmit tax returns even though previous checks didn't give any errors. Error messages were very vague and not helpful. Previous years, there was more information on errors with links you could click on to get more information. Now they want you to pay for help when you already purchased their software.

I really like turbo-tax and have been using it since the early 2000's. I sometimes have to question what it is asking and if it is placing items in the correct location. If you aren't experienced with completing personal taxes, this could be a problem.

The program is less flexible than last year and brings in numbers and information from who knows where. I tried to edit these things but cannot find the source anymore. Additionally, the help feature stinks. Before it was nice to hit the F1 key when on a field and get some help text but now that feature has been eliminated. Furtherore, any help requires you be connected to the internet. Bad Bad Bad. Its gotten to the point that I feel I have to buy the Audit Defense to feel safe because I don't trust what the program is doing or some of the things it does. I'm stuck with it because of carryback and carryforeward information that I have no ideal where its getting it from outside of the previous years use.

I had a PTIN for about 15 years. Except for all the annoying "Buy more cervices" and "download your information from the web" interruptions, it's basically a fancy calculator to do your taxes. Probably not hard for your average Joe to use, but IDK because I'm not your average Joe.

This year there was a bug in the software - It kept unchecking my single status upon review. I finally had to go to Forms to check single and save - after I did that - the review succeeded and I was able to E-file the Federal return. This occurred several times during the preparation of my return

I've used turbotax for years and was a little disappointed this year. The download from my financial institution was glitchy and it took 3 attempts to get it downloaded correctly. Also, when I ran error check, several errors were flagged but I had to search for the individual forms to make the corrections. I should be able to do that from the input pages if it is input that I need to make rather than have to find the correct form to make the correction.

Turbo Tax calculated penalties for both fed and state, which were clearly not appropriate. Had to contact customer service for help to override. Turbo Tax was not timely updated for a Wisconsin law change, resulting in rejection and need to refile once the error was fixed.
