Most of it is good and straight. However for self-employment it is not that straight. Also when importing directly from financial institutions, and filing jointly, it is hard to tell whose forms are which. The past year cross reference is great, but one cannot just get to the details of how it got there without opening the past year software and clicking through a lot. Many deductions are buried deep and cannot easily find it. Also, it would be great to have a feature to say what percentage is one being taxed at for a quick personal satisfaction.

I've used TurboTax for years, but this year I had several problems. 1) The software would not transfer last year's return. 2) The software crashed during the deductions section and there was no auto-save, so I lost all my work. 3) The 1099 income was included in the total but was not shown in one of the intermediate summary pages.

When I purchased the 2025 Turbotax Home & business I tried to pull in my 2024 filing from may computer and it wouldn't work. Then I couldn't get it to pull in my W2 or pull in my Fidelity investment information. I ended up having do put all my investments in by hand. Then when I completed my taxes, it told me I had a $110 State of Michigan under payment from 2024. I used your software. How is this possible?

I HAVE USED TURBOTAX FOR 20 YEARS AND EACH YEAR IT SEEMS TO HAVE DIFFERENT BUGS WHICH ARE ANNOYING TO WORK AROUND. I ALWAYS MANAE TO GET TAXES DONE BUT SOMETIMES IT IS NOT THE EASIEST SOFTWARE TO USE. STILL I KEEP COMING BACK BECAUSE I LIKE ALL MY RECORDS ON THE SAME SYSTEM AND I LIKE THE INTUIT AUDIT DEFENSE FEATURE.

I just hate how expensive you are - and all the hidden fees at the end of the application. I also hate how you say you can easily merge over documents but then you actually cant. I also hated how you asked me to fix a specific section of a document but then when I went to go find that document, the way that you have it set up, it doesn't show me exactly what the specific section is that you wanted me to fix. Oh and also I tried to write a review and it wouldn't let me, claiming my usernames were all used.

i HAD GREAT DIFFICULTY LOADING THE DESKTOP VERSION ON A NEW LAPTOP. I ALSO RECEIVED NUMEROUS OFFERS FOR THE INTUIT TURBOTAX SOFTWARE FROM APPARENTLY UNAUTHORIZED RE-SELLERS OF YOUR SOFTWARE. AND IT MADE IT DIFFICULT TO GET ANY INTUIT PRODUCT EXCEPT THE ONLINE VERSIONS. THEN I TRIED TO LOAD MY 2024 RETURN FROM MY OLD LAPTOP WITH NO SUCCESS. VERY FRUSTRATING!!! FINALLY IT WOULDNT LET ME E-FILE A SECOND STATE RETURN. THE ERROR MESSAGE WAS CLEARLY INCORRECT. I WILL FOLLOW UP WITH TURBOTAX AND IF NECESSARY WITH THE STATE OF INDIANA TO TRY TO E-FILE THAT RETURN.

I have used turbo tax for years. Never again Had to do taxes 5 times it went back to beginning wouldn't let me fill out forms I needed Said I automatically wouldn't be charged self employment tax on CRP because I am on social security. cost me $675 00. wouldn't let me file

I still wish the cd's were still available for purchase. Even if there was an upcharge option, I would still be interested in purchasing. I am worried that after 3 years, I won't be able to access my taxes, and I will still have to print out everything and keep it for forever.

Many items are not as intuitive as in past versions. Help topics are not intuitive at all. I cannot find within the desktop version where to file an extension. VERY FRUSTRATING COMPARED TO PRIOR YEARS. I dislike having to sign in within from the desktop version in order to search help topic.

I really like turbo-tax and have been using it since the early 2000's. I sometimes have to question what it is asking and if it is placing items in the correct location. If you aren't experienced with completing personal taxes, this could be a problem.
