EVERY YEAR I AM WAITING FOR FORMS TO BE UPDATED UNTIL LATE JANUARY OR EARLY FEBUARY. BUT YOU EXPECT ME TO PAY FOR YOUR SOFTWARE IN NOVEMBER. THIS YEAR MY FEDERAL RETURN WAS COMPLETED ON JANUARY 13TH AND ELECTRONICALLY SENT BUT COULD NOT BE FILED UNTIL JANUARY 26TH. MY 1040-ES FORM PRINT WITH "DO NOT FILE" ACROSS THE PRINTED VOUCHER. I CAN FIND NO WAY TO PRINT THEM WITHOUT THIS PROBLEM. I REVIEWED MY COMPLETED TAX RETURN AND I CAN FIND NO REASON FOR THIS PROBLEM. CAN YOU ENLIGHTEN ME.

I have used Turbo Tax for over 30 years. I find it easy to use and have never needed to use their expert services. I like the feature that exports the previous year's tax return making it easier to prepare my taxes. I mostly only need to change the numbers.

I was trying to use turbo tax for my granddaughter who is a door dasher. I was told by first agent that I needed to buy the home and business upgrade in doing so it did not resolve the iinformation I was looking for so I called back turbo tax agent who also walked me though the process of filling out information for 1099 NEC and let me know I did not have to pay the additional upgrade Lesson learning on that.. Sometimes you have to call back several times to get the right answer

I purchased tlurbotax and wanted to use annually. However, your continued attempt to sell me some person who has not seen or know of my tax situation is stupid and an attempt to hide what you are and that is more concerned about how much money you can generate vs having forms competed and system functioning well. You need to fire your product manager and the head of IT for your program. It is terrrible. I will not continue to be taken advantage of by you and your alleged product. One time at end do you want to pay for some assistance would be more than adequate.

Mostly helpful, did not like having to enter and repeat banking information for refunds, this could have been imported from last year's return and a simple confirmation of the same, unless a change was desired, is preferred. Another way to reward repeat customers.

Turbo Tax is my go-to every year. The one thing I would like to see would be a way to set up a payment schedule that could be attached to the return. I don't need that personally, but have a friend who suggested that it would make it much easier. She is grateful for the payments set of for the next year.

I have used Turbo tax for nearly two decades. This is the first year has been the horrible. First, it pushes one to use the online version. You have to search to get to the desktop version. It offers a download. Nothing about cost. You do the download and it wants the license number from your purchase; only, there was no purchase. Looking for pricing provided nothing for desktop version. Purchased that elsewhere. Online version merely gives you a price range and a statement that you don't have to pay anything until you file. I am not a) putting my tax information on their server knowingly and 2) complete the whole process without knowing up front how much it is going to cost me. I am not fond of sticker shock. This is the first year Turbo Tax has felt more like a scam than a legitimate company. Stop trying to push/force us to do our taxes "online." I am strongly considering another tax process next year.

I've been using Turbotax for decades and I would normally give this five stars every time. I use the desktop downloaded version only and this is the review for that version only. I prefer the desktop version because of the ability to switch between step by step and forms and that I can see the running total of my either tax payment or ref for both federal and that I File with. This year was particularly frustrating rental property real estate amortization and appreciation system was not completed in a timely manner. Yes I realize the IRS was and putting out their forms And so that into it had to hustle to try to get this system out and I'm glad got it out finally at least the portion that I needed I know that other people problems that section still So I mean if What I did not appreciate is that Turbotax announced the date that it would come and that date passed and they announced the later date and that date passed and announced the later. Many people were asking in the forums on Intuit site when this would be done and the answer was always well it's coming out it should be out by this date and if you sign up for the email updates you'll get an email this update is ready. But myself included and many other people reported getting an email saying the update was ready Kind of gay like oh you're about to keep when it really wasn't you know and then coming and opening Turbotax finding it still wasn't there That was really frustrating they could have been more clear open and honest about when it was coming out and make sure that their notification system was working people given false hope when they got an email saying hey your updates ready and then finding out that it really was not. Unless the online version of Turbotax becomes almost exactly like the downloaded desktop version I will probably never use the online version so into it has plans to stop producing the online version then I'm gonna have to search for another product.

I could not import a W2 because the box d info was too long and on two lines. Never found an acceptable way to type it in and had to restart TurboTax for it to recover sufficiently so that I could enter the W2 by hand. Screen kept blanking and returning. TurboTax was REALLY upset.

Overall great product; however, I had to create my return on Windows 10 running on iMac Desktop with Parallels since I don't have/nor want Windows 11! As such, it seems that the TurboTax file download didn't work on this configuration as I had to manually download and print the tax docs from all my financial institutions. Also, the fact that TurboTax 2025 won't run on Windows 10 was announced very late in the year requiring a work around for Windows 10! Not good! Otherwise, I would have rated it 5 stars.
