TurboTax is overall a good program but for the third year in a row you have made it a requirement to file the federal return by paper if you file a form 3520. The 3520 is required to be filed separately from your 1040 and the requirement to file it by paper doesn't require a paper filing of the 1040. You had this correct for years but now prohibit it. Also the step by step version of the non-resident NJ return did not flow well. Otherwise the program seemed good.

TurboTax seems to be slowly getting better over the years. It is somewhat straightforward and user friendly, but I did find myself not knowing what to input for accountant type questions. TurboTax could have more examples with industry related topics would be great. Maybe they'll get there eventually. Overall, it's still convenient to use, plus prices are still about the same over the years. Also, with AI now, I can figure out HOW to input my taxes. Not sure if what I imputed are all correct, but fingers crossed I guess.

Turbo Tax Home & Business - Desktop was excellent in covering all the features needed for a self-employed worker. This is the fourth year I have used the product. Only issues was the use of "key chain" for the program = it was no clear what "password" the program was asking for. I had to call and get help [which was excellent]. It was the desktop computer sign on password to gain access to needed pass code. The 2025 version was very easy to use and like years 2024, 2023, & 2022.

I have been using Turbo Tax since 2008 and find it an exceptional tool for doing my taxes! I have used the Home & Business version to guide me through the ever-changing income tax laws to insure accurate reporting of my taxes for the past 17 years! I like the easy-to-use features of the program and access to professional help, if needed. Turbo Tax offers Peace of Mind at Tax Time!

We have used TurboTax for a decade, and as our income has increased, so have our IRS problems. This is basic taxpayer software and does not address complex IRS issues.

I apparently got all the way through filing but never hit transmit. It would have been really nice to get some automated message from turbo tax letting me know my taxes were never actually filed.

Turbotax has operationally improved over the last couple of years. I can now install the program on my D: drive and receive updates. Also, I can now save tax return files anywhere on my machine and have Turbotax recognize that location. Thanks

the glitches that stop you from e- filing se health insurance and generate extra paperwork 1040x take hours to figure out. We did not need this paperwork. You must fix this.

The IRS assigns six-digit PIN numbers, but Turbo Taxes boxes for PINs accept only five spaces. My email return was rejected for lack of PIN numbers. I'm not sure what a late filing penalty will be, but I suspect several hundred dollars.

Disappointed this year - there were 2 forms from my investment accounts that weren't pulled into Turbo tax at all, though everything else on that account and another was pulled in. Notably 1099-int where box1 is blank and 1099 OID with box 1 blank as well. Glad I reviewed manually when the numbers didn't seem right. First time using the desktop version for business, maybe it's always been a problem with this version
