There is a glitch with the software, and there is no way to report it to have it fixed so I can still use the software to e-file. Now I have to print out my entire return and mail it in. The error is with form 5695 section 17D. The form will not accept an address or the option to check the box to use the address on the return, and the program keeps looking back to this area to fix the form.

This is the second year in a row that I have been unable to file online because the PIN in your software does not match the IRS records. I am very frustrated and don't know how to resolve this. I don't like filing through the mail, and I feel I've wasted money paying for this software again.

I have never found Turbotax particularly easy to use, although we have been using it for many years. I thought their previous help setup was pretty good, though - you pressed help when you were on a particular page and it popped up. I tried using their AI - like putting in a particular schedule # hoping it would bring up help text - no dice. What came up was totally unrelated. I had better luck googling the schedule instructions and got my question answered that way. I suppose that they want you to pay the $60 for getting any real help. Not worth it, though, for just a basic question on a particular form.

The fact that Intuit and other companies such as H&R Block successfully lobby to not have the government have its own - free - tax platform is outrageous. I get this software essentially because I have to. Not because I should, but because of good-ol' corporate greed.

While it may not be perfect, it's pretty close! I have been using TurboTax for decades. It steps you through the process and allows you to look at tax code, get help, look at the forms along the way, and in general makes tax preparation something the little guy can do. Thanks TurboTax.

It works with me. There are some difficult questions that TurboTax asks but it has info box that you can read on what the question means in detail. I can also google the questions and usually can find the answers to it. It's not easy but it's manageable. We use it every year and we are grateful for this program that helps us through Tax return.

The INTEREST/DIVIDEND/INVESTMENT SECTION IS RIDICULOUS TIDEOUS AND SO CONFUSING. PLEASE REVERT BACK AS IT WAS BEFORE 2023. Also, in 2025 i could NOT import my data from my investment accounts!!!! I tried everything! For some reason, TT kept feezing this year as well and ALSO shut down and gave me an error that data could not be saved. SO many inconsistancy's this year. I am very disappointed.

GREAT PROGRAM!!! HOWEVER, THE BUTTON TO CHANGE DEDUCTION STATUS, DID NOT WORK. FORCED TO CALL TECH SUPPORT WHO WAS GREAT AND MADE A WORK AROUND BECAUSE HE COULD NOT GET THE BUTTON TO WORK EITHER. SPENT MORE THAN 1 HOUR ON THE PHONE WITH THIS ISSUE?!!

The TurboTax Home & Business - Desktop version worked very well for me and was stable (did not crash or get hung up.) The user interface was familiar from my use of TurboTax in prior years, and provides both an easy step-by-step question and answer interface, and a separate Forms view that permits direct inspection and data entry/corrections capability. In a few cases the questions asked was kind of vaguely stated, but there were often explanatory pop-ups that could provide more explanation. I also ordered the Live Tax Advice where I could request a phone call to talk to a live human tax advisor, and that was a very helpful feature I used about five times.

You no longer allow one free state form/filing? Grrrrr. ALSO, the filing process is long and complicated. What's up with the need to report the AGI??? Please let us know how to write that, with a $, with a decimal point? With a comma or not? I found the AGI easily, but still...a step I'd never seen before. Seemed like a lot of steps in order to file. Double grrrrr. The first time I tried to file, I couldn't because the entire return needed to be updated...please advise me to update at the start of clicking onto the return, rather than interrupt the filing transmittal process.
