It's overall really good but I think you have some bugs in the health insurance questionnaire section when you click months not insured. Look into that. I've seen complaints online about that from others too. Additionally, you were unclear in the IRA contributions section. I'm not sure why TT said not to enter the contributed amount that was on my W2 saying you already deducted it from my income on the appropriate form. No you didn't. I had to input it manually myself.

Quickly becoming obsolete. Needs massive update in the age of AI. Way too many redundant questions and not filling in stuff it already knows about. Also doing product updates a few days before you file? What about those that already filed? Do better.

The program was difficult to go back to specific subset of individual business (schedule C) deductions. I had to go back to the beginning of the program and work forward through all subjects to get to the correct one to address and change. Also, using google, the cursor would not work well. I needed to utilize my touch screen capability

You seem to be moving the UI towards one optimized for phones and suboptimal for desktop. Giant buttons instead of simple items to click. Just making the buttons smaller would help a lot. I'm using a 24" monitor and the buttons are huge. I've using TT for many years and this is the first year where I felt your UI was making it harder for me. I can't be the only person left using a desktop system.

It gets the job done, but the interface is wonky: 1) The AI assistant did not work at all. I couldn't type anything. 2) The search feature is AWFUL, you can't even search on a page of text. 3) What should be local and on my desktop machine requires web login. That's horrible.

The program was good. BUT all the EXTRA steps to get my prepaid auto program every year was terrible. For years you sign in, you go to your purchase and download what you paid for in November 2025 ( I think Nov.)? Why do you want to make someone who has paid then jump through hoops plus more hoops once you get the email to download the program. SHAME ON YOU! WE DO NOT NEED THIS! DO NOT share my email address.

I'm disappointed with the "Fix it" process for rejected returns. My 1040 was rejected by the IRS for a missing Identity Protection PIN (Error IND-181-01), but TurboTax failed to prompt me for the PIN during the resubmission flow. It allowed me to resubmit without making any actual changes, leading to a second automatic rejection. I had to manually dig through the "Other Tax Situations" menu to find the input field because the software didn't guide me there. This loop wasted significant time and should be an easy fix for the developers.

The TurboTax Home & Business - Desktop version worked very well for me and was stable (did not crash or get hung up.) The user interface was familiar from my use of TurboTax in prior years, and provides both an easy step-by-step question and answer interface, and a separate Forms view that permits direct inspection and data entry/corrections capability. In a few cases the questions asked was kind of vaguely stated, but there were often explanatory pop-ups that could provide more explanation. I also ordered the Live Tax Advice where I could request a phone call to talk to a live human tax advisor, and that was a very helpful feature I used about five times.

This year version of Turbo Tax is horrible, I have been using this software for years because of the convenience and it has saved me a lot of time when it comes to preparing my taxes. Not sure who idea it was to change the software. This year I was unable to import or upload Turbo Tax returns from prior years and my 2024 Turbo Tax was saved on my computer. I am really disappointed in the 2025 version. If I have to manually input my information I might as well shop around for a cheaper tax software.

Each year my California return has been found to be in error. I hope it works out this year. CA LLC: Also, I'm sending CA $1700 for form 568, and also 800 and 900 for two other forms. In the past, CA has refunded my 1700 as duplicate. Not sure what's going on. With the assistance of your call-in line, we found where to select that I had an LLC, it was hidden pretty well. Please bring that forward into the Business section next year. I'm happy with the e-filing processing, and the general formatting and data collection and review.
