Spent hours trying to figure out this maze of crazy! Your help is 0 help, your search is 0 help. Trying to find the 540 ES anywhere was a joke! The only help was ChatGTP.

I use Turbo Tax every year. It is always up-to-date in real time, and "reminds" me to write off items for my businesses that I have forgotten that I need to write off! I love the feature that tells you the chances of being audited. Such a user-friendly program! Highly recommend!!

Every year my taxes are rejected the first time. it is the same issue every year. Although I don't have children I qualify for a small EIC credit but this requires form 8862 and for some reason turbo tax doesn't automatically fill this form out and I have to go to "open form" , fill out manually, resubmit my taxes.

Home and Business (1) It does not handle where TP has two accounts and uses one of them to satisfy the RMD amount for both of them. Requires an override to show total RMD for both and total distributions for both in order to eliminate the RMD penalty. (2) It really should be designed so it can be prepared on chromebook.

Additionally, the desktop version requires lengthy updates every time the app is opened, sometimes taking up to 10 minutes, which is a significant hit to productivity.

I abhor the changes you have made to the system, that will "conclude" a direction without offering the detail to back it up. For example, I couldn't easily get to Att A since you concluded I shouldn't itemize. That's great, but I STILL want to see the detail. Else, I cannot determine if I made a data entry error that sent me in a direction that was not the way to go. Also, if I have a broker who reports div/interest, and I also have a capital gains tx with that broker, why do I have to "Add Investment"? Why not just go to that broker section, and add the capital gain? That took me several minutes to figure out. NOT LOGICAL.

Many items are not as intuitive as in past versions. Help topics are not intuitive at all. I cannot find within the desktop version where to file an extension. VERY FRUSTRATING COMPARED TO PRIOR YEARS. I dislike having to sign in within from the desktop version in order to search help topic.

I've used Turbo since it was launched. This is the first year that issues have occurred. Even though I received the notice with the check stating that my taxes had been filed, they had not. Each time I opened my file, I was told to file my taxes. There appeared to be no communication between the program and the status of my submission. The issues have been addressed. I will still do my taxes as long as I can. I like the privacy of the process.

This was a TERRIBLY frustrating experience. The explanations of what the questions were asking for was not adequate, the BACK button doesn't always take you back to the previous page - sometimes it takes you completely out of the section you were just in and you have to start all over. The submission for taxes was really irritating - it actually will NOT let you file if you don't have everything the program is asking for and when you try to fix it you have to delete the form and start over. Then, when you finally DO get everything fixed and you try to file, you get an ERROR MESSAGE saying that you've already reached the maximum number of filings (up to 5) when you haven't even gotten a single filing submitted. Nope. This was a freaking nightmare and next year I will just hire an accountant. I will say, the people I actually dealt with were exceptional in every way.

Sorry, Intuit, the 2025 Tax Year TurboTax was the worst that I can remember, and I've been using TurboTax since the beginning. You got rid of fan favorites, charitable goods calculator, and you push selling your 1-offs too much throughout the process. Sad people, I know I am not the only one that thinks this way, just Google, "TurboTax sucks this year" and see what people are saying. This is constructive criticism, get back to basics a quite short cutting in order to save a dime.
