This was the first year I found the software to be frustrating. You would get on a screen make a choice and move forward but if you changed your mind and wanted to go back to change the original selection that screen was no longer available. For example, I chose not to upload investment PDF or photo and enter it on my own but then wanted to go back and upload the file -- that option screen was no longer available. I'm sure that I could have searched for it but this is extremely frustrating. Also the software was not able to successfully connect to T. Rowe Price to get my info; said look for pop-up window or if you don't get a pop-up it has connected but it just sat there doing nothing.

CA tax module does not handle IRA distribution well. My 1099-R Col 16 is empty, software said just use the $ amount in Col 1 or 2 to put it in Line 4 --IRA distribution adjustment. It made a big refund for me, but I know this is not correct. After reading the rule of federal and CA, both treat taxable the same way, there should not be an adjustment to put in Line 4. I put zero in Line 4 and it show due amount for me.

This is absolutely the worse program I have used. The imported tax documents are without any identifying account information to help determine from what pool values were derived. Instructions are limited and useless. Constant advertising of product add-ons is disgusting. I almost believe the product is purposely bad so to encourage selecting the tax help and auditing products.

For the most part, doing my Federal (with Schedule C) and NC state returns were simple. Places where improvement could be made are: * Handling of K1s on both Federal and State returns * Being able to view forms in a separate window. When doing estimates for next years income and expenses, it would have been helpful to look at the forms with this year's values at the same time. When doing state K1, it would have been helpful to look at Federal K1 worksheets. * In printing for review, it says it will only print the forms being submitted to the govt, but it printed all the worksheets as well. Give us a choice of only the forms or everything before filing and after. * In printing a long return (mine was 110 pages with worksheets), double sided is best, but the estimated tax coupons print 1 to a page, so all are on 2 pages (back to back) and I have to reprint. Why not print them all on one page and save paper. * Don't push to online only

TurboTax Home & Business made filing my return much easier this year. The interview questions were clear, it handled my multiple K‑1s and education forms accurately, and the built‑in explanations helped me understand why each number was entered. I especially liked how it walked me step‑by‑step through complex items like Section 199A and rental property, while still letting me drill down to the actual IRS forms when I wanted to double‑check something. Overall, it gave me confidence that my return was complete and maximized my deductions.

I used TT to file my 2024 (not 2025) taxes (as well as every taxes for years) and I never received my Fed or State tax refund. I can't figure out if TT every electronically filed them. I can't find a phone number to request help other than "get tax help for $60". This is TT help. Also, for 2025, I can't enter a cc expiration date of later than Oct. And of course, my expiration date is Dec.

Absolutely unacceptable that third party downloads from financial institutions are so confusing this year. Furthermore, the incompatibility of TAXPACKAGESUPPORT.COM is also unacceptable, Especially when I pay more for a version of the program which is supposed to do this!

I HAVE BEEN USING TURBOTAX FOR MANY YEARS AND THIS HAS BEEN THE WORST YEAR EVER. WHEN I HAD A SIMPLE QUESTION "YOU ASKED FOR $5.00 PER QUESTION, UNBELIVEABLE!' THIS IS THE VERY FIRST TIME I AM VERY LIKELY WILL "NOT" BUY NEXT YEAR AND WITH SOMEONE ELSE. WHEN I DID ASKED A QUESTION THE ANSWERS WERE UNRELATED TO THE QUESTION, NO HELP AT ALL. GOOD LUCK?

Thank you for this opportunity. My name is Gary and I've used Turbotax for over 20 years. I come from a time where we owned the software and controlled our own data. Intuit has been moving away from that business model for some time. This year was the worse. I was forced to migrate to a new computer (Windows 10 issue) and decided to go from windows based to Apple. Big problem. Turbotax (iOS) didn't recognize 2024 return and your professional staff on the phone wasn't proficient on iOS. There was a break in the chain from 2024 to 2025. It's like starting over from scratch. The que for support should have a windows group and an iOS group. I know it's not Turbotax's job to support the O/S but your "Pro" should be proficient in the platform on which your product is running on. NOT HAPPY THIS YEAR GUYS PS. The Apple version of Intuit's products is so different than Windows based that I felt like I was back to square one and it introduced so much frustration that I wanted to scream. I don't know what can be done but some kind of transitioning holding hand would have helped.

Turbo tax 2025 input was easy as it was in the past years except that the state return got corrupted in the acquistion phase an the on-ine AI support was a nightmare. When I finally got to a real person the were able to execute a fix. I was very dissatified with the AI process. At thecompletion of the tax information it was difficult to determine if the forms were filed electronically or not.
