I have used Turbo Tax for years. It works fine. My only issue is that when I go back to a section I have to walk through all this steps in the beginning and end such as when I enter rental income and expenses. So this is annoying. Seems that Turbo tax programmers think that you a gong to get all the nubs right the first time. Which would be great in a perfect world. So if I were to suggest a change would be to allow a way to bypass that beyond clicking ot another subject then start the previous subject again. Reduce the clicks.

The program was difficult to go back to specific subset of individual business (schedule C) deductions. I had to go back to the beginning of the program and work forward through all subjects to get to the correct one to address and change. Also, using google, the cursor would not work well. I needed to utilize my touch screen capability

I had a problem in completing 8382 form- donatation form, Next I could not process the efile as it a minor question to answer and I don't know what was your question, Next I tried to call a TurboTax site near my home, I tried three times, each time it said call back if you need help. I have been using Turbo tax form for over 15 years, I had no trouble before. You need to go back what was done for 2024 tax return especially with the non monetary donation valuation. All those supportd were miss ing.

Turbo Tax is usually flawless but I found a few hitches this year: 1) First transfer of data from 2024 forms missed previous home office data. Second transfer to a new file worked. 2) The interface for reporting dividends, interest, etc. was jarringly different from the rest of the app and I had to spend some time figuring out what I was supposed to do. Why didn't you stick with reporting all 1099-INT or 1099-DIV separately? 3) First time I prepared to print, I was given the option of creating estimated payments and related forms for future State taxes. I stopped and saved the file at that point. When I re-opened the file, I could no longer see that option or find it.

IT IS VERY ANNOYING THAT I NEED TO (UPDATE) EVERY STUPID TIME I WANT TO CONTINUE WITH MY TAXES EVEN IF I JUST TURNED THE COMPUTER OFF FOR ONE MINUTE I NEED TO RE UPDATE TURBOTAX. IF I DID NOT HAVE DONE MY TAXES WITH TURBO TAX FOR OVER 10 YEARS I WOULD HAVE GONE WITH A DIFFERENT SOFTWARE.

• Continually sends me emails recommending that I purchase Turbotax even weeks AFTER I have purchased and installed it. Similar to last year when I continued to receive weekly emails regarding late filing services 5-6 months after I had in fact, filed the return. • Schedule F: Failed to transfer 2024 farm income (as seen in the year-to-year comparisons) • Personal income section: Does not allow me to skip electronic import of investment data and go directly to manual input. Instead, it takes me to import, and when I enter “skip” it takes me to back to the initial page where it eventually allows me to manually enter the data. Very inefficient, and frankly wasteful and disrespectful of my time. Turbotax should have an up-front option to skip all electronic import and allow the user (i.e., the person who PAYS FOR this software) to manually enter data if he so chooses. o I note that in previous editions of Turbotax, there was a check-box with the option to stop asking the question. • Also, Turbotax added-in several “blank” or “Un-named” investment accounts which I am unable to delete. There is no data in these accounts, since they do not exist, but as a user I am not allowed the option to delete them. o Eventually I opened the “Forms View” and was able to delete the non-existent accounts. • On the screen “Other Interest and Dividends” TurboTax auto-checks for seller-financed mortgage interest (which I don't have) and does not allow me to un-check the box. • 1099-R: Turbotax imported the payer name for my pension, but it also imports the data from last year and does not allow me the option to update or edit any information for the current tax year. I was finally able to manually enter by going to the “Forms View” but it still won't allow me to edit information from the main “Step-by-Step” menu. o Eventually needed to enter “Form View” to delete the entire form and start again from scratch. • My state forms did not transfer my Federal pension exemption. Notes said to locate “Find” on toolbar, but there is no such term on the toolbar. Again, had to return to the “Form View” and delete the entire form, then re-enter the information. Once that was completed, the information was correct but there was no option to edit the data from the “Step-by-Step” screen.

I have been using Turbo Tax for decades and have always relied on it for great information not only with regards to tax changes, but also just giving me extra information with the helpful question mark next to everything. This year I felt like there were gaps or missing pieces of that extra information. I use TT rather than using an outside person because I want to continue to be knowledgeable about what I am being taxed on, how it impacts our life, and potential topics that I could utilize to be more efficient with our money. I was disappointed that with all of the changes, a simple link here and there wasn't provided to either the IRS.gov publication, or more information on things such as the Big Beautiful Bill. TT was flawless in its tech and usage. Each page/topic flowed into the next, however somehow it skipped over the Federal Review and I had to go back to it manually. Overall still a fan. Just don't take away the education pieces

This year's product failed to request our PINs from the IRS and the returns were rejected. Fortunately I submitted with 2 days to go, but if I had waited there could have been a serious issue. Including PINs is required - why would your product have submitted without them? Very disappointing.

I find Turbo Tax easy to use. I like the options to walk through everything or choose what to work on, which is easy if you just want to double-check something you've entered. The explanation of categories with samples of what is allowable is very helpful. Although I gave a 5-star rating, I found the requests for information on the state portion to be a bit confusing than last or previous years. I'm not sure if that is something requested by the state or something TurboTax changed. The filing of the returns was fast and efficient and the options of payment, etc., are convenient.

Very disappointed with TurboTax 2025 Home & Business. I have used TurboTax for years, but it seems the last few years there are more and more glitches in the software. For 2025, I was defaulted to "Standard Deduction" after entering itemized deductions and could not change back to "Itemized". I also did not have the option to use my Federal itemized deductions for my California state taxes. Hoping the 2026 software is better.
