Turbo Tax is great. Led me through the whole process even with the over abundance of 1099 forms that we had this year. Used the tax advice service, which is a great deal for only $60. She helped me resolve the only error from the forms and everything is good. Only have one recommendation, that is for importing information from other sites, I didn't like the way it made everything available (all accounts), but did like being able to use a PDF file for the W-2. It would be great if that function was also available for other import sections.

As compared to prior years, not so impressed, especailly with the filing of my state return.. In prior years, if I selected hard copy submission, the return would be prepaed for this method to include mailing addresses and guidance on the mailing process. I am not sure I have printed the correct from forms for state reporting. I believe the only reason this was the case is so Turbo Tax could push e-file for a fee on me.

I have nothing positive to say about using Turbo Tax for taxes. i've been doing it for 30+ years. I only have one suggestion, make sure that the worksheets are integrated. It can be a little frustrating to have to go back to a previous year and find something that is in the system already. Not sure why the program can't do that. I does almost everything else. Very pleased overall!!

SOMETIMES THE QUESTIONS ARE POSED OR ASKED BUT THE SOFTWARE DOES NOT TELL YOU WHY. IT WOULD BE BETTER TO ALWSYS BE TOLD WHY THE INQUIRY INSTEAD OF EXPAINING IT AFTER ONE HAS INPUTED THE NUMBERS. FOR INSTANCE WHEN FILLING OUT 1095-A INFORMATION, LET US KNOW WHY SUDDENLY THE REFUND DISAPEARS AND GOES WAY US AS A DEBIT. IT FREAKS ONE OUT. TELL US AHEAD OF TIME WHY THE NUMBERS WILL CHANGE. IT WAS EXPLAINED IN THE END BUT NOT BEFORE PUTTING ONE INTO SHOCK. THE SAME WITH THE VEHICLE TAX CREDIT. EXPLAIN THAT TH INFRATION NEEDS TO BE INPUTED SO THAT THE TAX CREDIT ALREADY APPLIED AT POINT OF SALE NEEDS TO BE CONFIRMED. THAT THE TAXPAYER IS REALLY OR WAS REALLY ELIGIBLE TO RECEIVE IT.

Overall great product. Easy to use for both business and personal taxes. I have been using it for over 20 years. I especially like the option to pick and choose what I work on for data input. Given my familiarity with the product and tax filing I don't need to use the option to walk me through it. I also like the feature to switch between the specific form format and the topical data entry format to check my work. Another great feature is the ability for Turbo Tax to gather, save and process previous year's data, especially for the business depreciation.

I transferred from a Microsoft 10 platform to an Apple Mac a few months prior to starting tax return. Had a terrible time. I had to resurrect the old PC, go through all f the Microsoft updates I missed in order to download the data file. Mac had trouble with he software and it took hours to get the program to run on it. The revised program might be written for new customers. It is difficult to get into sections for changes without a lot of hassle. Was continually annoyed by nagging to buy the $60 help package... If I had known what a pain it was going to be, I would be hesitant to purchase it. Previous editions were much easier to operate and carry over previous years data. Hope you improve next year. I will peruse reviews first before buying again.

TurboTax makes the process easy by transferring previous year's tax information if you used TurboTax to the current year, provides step-by-step guidance through the process, provides deeper information if requested, allows access to the form to make changes, points out errors that need attention, automatic downloads of brokerage information is a time saver, and automatic filing is the icing on the cake.

Everything was great as usual. There were a few places where I searched the web to gain a better appreciation of the tax rules. I also think you could have communicated better regarding the delay due to tax changes affecting depreciation for rental properties.

EVERY YEAR I AM WAITING FOR FORMS TO BE UPDATED UNTIL LATE JANUARY OR EARLY FEBUARY. BUT YOU EXPECT ME TO PAY FOR YOUR SOFTWARE IN NOVEMBER. THIS YEAR MY FEDERAL RETURN WAS COMPLETED ON JANUARY 13TH AND ELECTRONICALLY SENT BUT COULD NOT BE FILED UNTIL JANUARY 26TH. MY 1040-ES FORM PRINT WITH "DO NOT FILE" ACROSS THE PRINTED VOUCHER. I CAN FIND NO WAY TO PRINT THEM WITHOUT THIS PROBLEM. I REVIEWED MY COMPLETED TAX RETURN AND I CAN FIND NO REASON FOR THIS PROBLEM. CAN YOU ENLIGHTEN ME.

I have used Turbo Tax for over 10 years and this year was no exception. With all of the tax law changes, TurboTax had all updates to make this task easy. There was a small glitch when originally e-filing as it was asking for information for a form that was not applicable to us Form 7205. Reading the help comments you had to find it on line 27 of Schedule C which had a filled in 0. Overriding the 0 to leave it blank resolved the problem, and allowed completion of 2025 taxes. I would not choose another brand of tax software. Turbotax is the most thorough, reliable, and ease of use.
