The product is very good but getting it becomes more difficult every year. Intuit's security and download procedures have are very cumbersome and unfriendly.

The interface for entering 1099s has gotten more confusing with lots of screen switching and what looks like loops. It's pretty easy once you figure it out, but it used to be a lot more straightforward.

TurboTax representative Debra, a CPA, gave me excellent advice for declaring this year's taxes with a major change to my income. She also advised me to submit quarterly withholdings to make things easier for me next year.

When I ran the check of the tax returns and some errors were listed, I had difficulty finding where to correct some of them. The reference was to the IRS forms but it wasn't easy to find the corrections in Turbotax.

I have used TurboTax for many years, and have offered my services as a technical writer to improve your product a number of times. Unfortunately, I have not received any responses.

Turbotax allows me to take my time and make sure eveything I need is included when doing my taxes. I can see the numbers and understand what and why I am putting certain numbers in.

Had a huge problem trying to import last year's tax return on my MacBook. I finally got it to work by opening the 2024 return using the 2025 version of TurboTax. Then it asked me if ii would like to do the import.

This was the first year I didn't load the program with a cd disc. It was easier to do it that way. I called for assistance and it took over 90 minutes to get the program to respond. Do me a favor and go back to using the cd discs.

Actually 4 1/2 stars. The drawbacks were with investments. The limit of 2500 transactions meant I had to print out a 235 page 1099 and mail it in. Also, details from K-1 forms don't transfer well

excellent overall experience, prior year carryovers and data needed to complete were easily populated, only had a few questions that were not clear and figured those out, always have to upgrade to a high level to cover all topics well
