TOO MANY PROBLEMS TO LIST TO IT COMPLETLY CRASHING AND CORRUPTING THE DATA. CHECK BOXES BEING CHECKED AND CAN NOT UN CHECK BOX . UPDATES CHANGE THE WAY THE DOCUMENT LOOKS IT LOOKS LIKE IT WAS PASTED TOGETHER LIKE A 3 YEAR OLD NO FLOW OR CONTINUITY WORST WAS THE INTREST INCOME, STOCK, DIVIDENDS, ETC COULD NOT BYPASS THE ELETRONIC "GET MY FILES FOR ME " CONSTANT , ON TOP OF THAT I COULD NOT SEE MY INTREST ON ONE PAGE ! HAD TO SCROLL UP AND DOWN IT WAS THE WORST CHANGE THIS YEAR!

I think your the software should be self-contained when looking for information about fixing an error. I felt like I was on a wild goose chase trying to figure out what the line item was for that needed correction, and where it was in the return. There was no context for the errors to fix.

There is a glitz wherein one of my 1099-R would not allow me to e-file due to my checking the box on the 1099-R form that the type of account is an IRA. The program kept going back when I tried to submit e-file with a message that one item -that one described above- needs review. No way to override the glitz was allowed. After multiple attempts without e-file success I finally unchecked the 'IRA" box and checked the "other" box although that is not correct. I then was able to e-file. Your entry checks on review are terrible where they do not provide an override capability. Quite frustrating..

After so many years with TurboTax, I did get very frustrated this year. Several factors, including: 1- Deductions for non-child disabled elderly parents are no longer available, or so severely limited by the new government regime that only the rich and upper middle class can take the deduction. 2- It took me 2 days to try to get the forms transmitted since there was a 1095-A document that was not correctly completed by the respective insurance company, causing a loop in the software. 3- Re: #2 above, I contacted the live support and back and forth removing the form, reloading it several times, finding that the 3 columns need to have correct data, but PENNIE only entered columns A and B. 4- Live support was excellent, and I strongly suggest using the team since our corrupt government is too busy stealing from the poor to enrich the billionaires, as they continue to remove deductions for the poor and middle class.

Horrible product that does not work well. You cannot import 1099-DA into their desktop software. Online Turbotax does not allow you to upload csvs or any other text format for importing those transactions. Their PDF processing of the transactions are horrible and misidentifies amounts.

SOMETIMES THE QUESTIONS ARE POSED OR ASKED BUT THE SOFTWARE DOES NOT TELL YOU WHY. IT WOULD BE BETTER TO ALWSYS BE TOLD WHY THE INQUIRY INSTEAD OF EXPAINING IT AFTER ONE HAS INPUTED THE NUMBERS. FOR INSTANCE WHEN FILLING OUT 1095-A INFORMATION, LET US KNOW WHY SUDDENLY THE REFUND DISAPEARS AND GOES WAY US AS A DEBIT. IT FREAKS ONE OUT. TELL US AHEAD OF TIME WHY THE NUMBERS WILL CHANGE. IT WAS EXPLAINED IN THE END BUT NOT BEFORE PUTTING ONE INTO SHOCK. THE SAME WITH THE VEHICLE TAX CREDIT. EXPLAIN THAT TH INFRATION NEEDS TO BE INPUTED SO THAT THE TAX CREDIT ALREADY APPLIED AT POINT OF SALE NEEDS TO BE CONFIRMED. THAT THE TAXPAYER IS REALLY OR WAS REALLY ELIGIBLE TO RECEIVE IT.

I had to spend that $60.00 fee to talk to an agent. Two hours of waiting for help, I was finally contacted by Nathan. The problem was that I was at the finish line and the Federal could not be accepted. Nathan worked with me for over an hour. He successfully solved the problem by upgrading my software. It was very complicated but he knew just what to do all the while calming me that it just takes time. He saved me. Honestly, he saved me. Thank you again Nathan for everything, Lou Anne

I don't need 'tax experts.' I've been filling out the same topics for 20 years using turbotax. What I DO need is Windos10 support. I refuse to use Windows 11 for security and privacy concerns. Instead, by using Turbotax, I have now exposed my information in ways I can't get back. Many of my fellow IT specialists agree which is why we have refused to 'upgrade' to that worthless product. If Windows 10 isn't supported, I wouldn't expect that many of us will continue to use Turbotax. With what I've done for the last 20 years, it's easy enough to fill out the forms directly, it's just 'easier' to use the UI and not need to 'search' for changes. Having to only use 1 windows 11 machine (my wife's) and only being able to use it when it's not in use (scheduling is a thing) instead of the other 20 computers here is extremely difficult.

My taxes were a bit complicated, I had to add more than one business, had to fill out 1099 forms, so it was a bit overwhelming, but with turbo tax's help, I was not only able to submit everything I needed, they also helped me get all the deductions I could get, so thank you!

The process (box window opened) to make payment for e-file has bug. The credit card expiration months only show/allow months 1 to 8 or 9. (I can not move to month 9, 10, 11, 12) In the end, I have to use a credit card that has expiration month 1 ~ 9 to make payment.
