I had over 120 error messages in the final error check asking me "is this a digital investment". After going through basically all but a couple, I was asked "Do you have any digital investments?". That really annoyed me !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Was aiming for 120 exclamation points, 1 for each error message) After taking considerable time saying "NO" so many times and thinking why I can't just say GLOBALLY NO, you ask me this question. "Do you have any digital investments?" Why didn't you ask me before I said "No" so many times. Be SMARTER with assessing error messages and allow us to get done more quicky. AI IS HERE. You should be smarter assessing error messages and getting through them.

Extremely frustrating. Forms that pull from other forms that you didn't start, impossible to figure out how to fix links. Impossible to get the IRS to accept the efiling because the AGI didn't match. I pulled my tax reports directly from the IRS, using those numbers, and it STILL wouldn't confirm identity. Checked all drivers license info 3 time. After trying to e-file 6 times I'm just mailing it in like I did in 1987.

My only issue this year was selecting the environment. I have always downloaded your program, this year I was prompted to use the online version. I said OK. Next time I worked on taxes, I was prompted to download the program, so I said OK. The next time I went back, I was again prompted to use the online version. Please make up your mind.

I did not engage an expert. I thought I did not need one given 30+ years using the program. Annual changes to the program can be a pain. Even then, I was able to find everything I needed. Being an ancient one, the nonuse of menus, navigating by icon or swipe drives me nuts. Do not eliminate menus please. Reporting is good.

If you're unsure of yourself you can always purchase additional helps and features for full service at a fraction of what the professionals charge.

I used TT to file my 2024 (not 2025) taxes (as well as every taxes for years) and I never received my Fed or State tax refund. I can't figure out if TT every electronically filed them. I can't find a phone number to request help other than "get tax help for $60". This is TT help. Also, for 2025, I can't enter a cc expiration date of later than Oct. And of course, my expiration date is Dec.

Straight Forward guidance throughout the filing process. I have been using this product for 3 decades with very few problems/issues. I do NOT like the Intuit Marketing to "PUT EVERYTHING ON THE CLOUD YOU ALREADY TRUST!... and the software is FREE" #1 - I do NOT Trust the "CLOUD" and while I use Turbo Tax (for 30 years) I trust as little information I have to be shared/saved on their servers/cloud... and after being hacked once already, SHAME ON YOU for thinking you can be trusted to store my most sensitive financial data on your servers. #2 - Why not look at how long your customers have been with you and give THEM a freebie now and then!?!?!

I receive pensions from the UK government and a former employer in the UK. I have entered correct contact addresses for these payors. They do not have EIN numbers. I entered 99-999999 as suggested by Chat GPT. These show up as errors in the final review and prevent on line filing. The system is not friendly with regard to income from these sources. Can you add an input form for foreign sourced income and pensions please?

I had a very....difficult time to figure out my CA state itemized deduction. I took me 2 days and finally I found a Itemized Deduction Worksheet in CA's website. After filling out all the information as instructed, I found the result that matched Turbotax provided. Shouldn't you provide this worksheet in the software? The amount is there but without the worksheet, no way to tell where the amount came from. After finding out, my head-ach is gone right away!!!

I started with TurboTax Deluxe in 2007. In later years after I started my small business I switched to TurboTax Home and Business. One year I hired a "Professional Tax Service" who made a basic error and I had to amend with TurboTax. Another year when I was audited, I chose a local CPA with great recommendations online. That was a wasted hour of my money and my life! I had more knowledge from TurboTax, then he had from school.
