i really like this product, i just have to remember to pick up. my small.area rug and unplug my lamp or elae it will get tangled in the wire or rug . otherwise it work's like its supposed to.

Purchased 2 units. They worked great the first month. Then one of them suddenly displayed a “right wheel” error message. Nothing was caught in, even disassembled it to make sure, still get “right wheel” error. Returned them both.

Right wheel error after one month using, very disappointed. Returned it to the store for a refund, I will look for another brand hopefully it will last.

First, full disclosure, we got our BObsweep Maxim at Sam's when it was on a really good sale. Anyway, this robot vacuum is great. And with hardwood floors in almost the entire house, I love this robot vacuum. It vacuums and mops. It does a great job. First it maps the house. You can choose to do the entire house or just certain rooms after the map is created. You can create “no mop zones”. There is also a setting for it to detect rugs. We don't have rugs so I have not used this feature. The robot vacuum rarely gets stuck. The mopping feature is just damp, not a huge trail of water so it doesn't damage the floors. Mine has not been streaky at all. It does thorough job of cleaning. And somehow it washes and dries the microfiber mop pads. No clue how it does this but they are clean and we have had it around 4 weeks. It will go back in the middle of a cycle, empty the vacuum and wash and dry it the mop pads and go back out and finish. This may be my favorite thing about this vacuum. I love there is not dirty mop pads being used on my floor. It also uses very little solution so a bottle seems to last for quite a while.

I've had this for 5 months, and I'm returning it. I wanted to love it. But it doesn't work very well. For instance, the mopping mechanism doesn't work well at all. It's more like it just kind of gets your floor wet, it doesn't actually mop up anything. A drop of coffee on the floor? Nope, can't mop it up. However if I take a damp cloth myself and barely swipe at the coffee drop, it comes right up. I'm sure it picks up dust because the dirty water container is dirty - but for minor little spots that I expected it to clean up - it can't. I never expected this thing to do a deep clean at all, but it can't even do a minor clean. My other complaint is that the side brush will not extend when it's vacuuming the perimeter of my cabinets, so if there's crumbs underneath the toe-kick of my cabinets (there always is), they stay there. I've also noticed the suction of the vacuum has deteriorated despite my efforts of maintaining the filter etc. I will watch it go right over little crumbs and leave them behind which shocked me because of the high suction this thing markets. Anyways, I thought I was getting the steal of a lifetime with the outrageous discount but I think that's just a marketing ploy to get you thinking you're getting a good deal. I paid $400 and I think it's worth about $200.

We love our Maxim Robot. We have it set up to start every evening and it is great at detecting different floor textures. We are renovating a house and currently are living in the finished out basement. It's an open concept with 5 different flooring types including 3 different carpets. It can detect when it's on carpet vs vinyl vs finished concrete and when to mop. It's also good at getting over the multiple transition strips that our former vacuum had issues getting over. We have multiple large animals, a lot of construction dust, and mud and it cleans everything with ease. My husband says it's the best home purchase he's ever made.

I previously had an Roomba which didn't work very well so my expectations were not very high for this, but it has definitely exceeded my expectations. While it initially had a few errors while figuring out some area rugs and places in my home, it has settled in nicely and is doing a great job keeping my house spotless. I love the app that can map different rooms and being able to setup different schedules for both vacuum and mopping different rooms. Definitely recommend.

Works reasonably well. Does a good job of vacuuming floors and an OK job mopping. The app could use a lot of work to be easier and more intuitive to use but once you figure it out, it's just strongly OK. The bot will actually pick up the mops whenever it goes over a rug or carpet, which is pretty neat. Avoiding small obstacles that could bind it up though could use work. About 20% of the time I come out to find the robot stuck somewhere because of something. Run time is good, the self emptying and cleaning are all good. What's really annoying about this bot is that it doesn't seem to fully understand it's own dimensions. What I mean by that is that will rub against your base boards quite a bit. When this happens it will leave a fantastic black smudge. I've contacted bobsweep support to tell this to them and offering to work with the development team to fix this issue (as there must just be something unique about my home that causes it to do this, or maybe it just hates my baseboards) and I've gotten 2 offers for a refund and 1 "I'll reach out to the developers". If this issue is fixed, this would be an amazing bot. In the meantime it's running the race in the lead and then stepping on it's own shoelaces just before the finish line.

This is my second model from this brand, it's the biggest help. The app tells you what is wrong, if it's missing something if something needs replacement etc. super simple and easy to use, easy to clean as well. I have a high traffic home and our maxim makes it feel and look a lot cleaner with kids and pets in home.

This is the best robot vacuum I've owned, and I've had several. Both the vacuum and mop features left my floors so clean, and that's with three dogs. The issue is with the battery. After using it about a month, it wouldn't charge past 36%, and it seemed to affect its power when it would clean. I was having to go over things to the point it was useless. So, I did everything it says to do, cleaned things out, let it charge for DAYS. After two weeks of not using it, it charged to 100%. After one cleaning, we were back to square one. I tried buying replacement batteries, but to no avail. You cannot buy one with prongs (I don't know what they're called.) to match this vacuum. I bought multiple. I even called their customer service number MULTIPLE times only to listen to hold music for several minutes before being disconnected. It's so frustrating because- again- this is the best robot vacuum I've had. Sadly, I returned it after less than two months' use.
