I recently purchased the Oakford 875 as a second pellet grill. Yesterday, my daughter and I assembled it without too much difficulty. I would strongly urge for two to tackle it since some of the connections require a lot of gymnastics. Earlier today, I burned it in and then smoked two racks of ribs. I must say it did a better job than expected for its price point. The only issue with assembly was my own making. We attached the bottom shelf backwards and did not notice it until it was completed. The mistake does not impact function so it will remain as attached. The biggest challenge was connecting the folding front shelf. Others have noted the same issue. It's control scheme is rather straight forward but I have not yet attempted to use the app. Time will tell.

Thus far, I am pleased with the quality of construction and performance. This is my second pellet grill, but first Nexgrill brand. I do have two concerns: attaching the fold down shelf and the location of the hopper's pellet "chute" for lack of a better word. Today, I attempted to change out the pellets in the hopper from a previous smoke. I keep my pellets in an industrial airtight tub like those available at Lowe's, etc. I place it as far as I could under the opening of the chute but the location of the bottom shelf prevented the tub from being centered. So, I repositioned (balanced) the tub on the shelf. Bad idea. when the tub was filling, the tub tipped over from the shelf and spread pellets all over the ground. Perhaps a relocation of the opening of the chute might prevent this from happening in the future. As far as the folding shelf, the attachment to the grill was a pain. Several reviewers made similar comments. It definitely requires two people to assemble. That said, the overall instructions were decent. Otherwise, I am pleased with the smoker.

git it for my husband as his first pellet grill. went to use it and the controller doesnt work. called nex grill and they dont have replacements for the controller. so now i have to return as sams doesnt have replacement grills... the grill is too new for the company to have replacement controllers.. totally sucks..

Bizarrely, I cannot activate my warranty without leaving a review. I obviously haven't gotten to use it yet, but they insist. I think I'll love the grill, but I don't love practices used to fill a website with high reviews especially like this where I likely haven't used it yet. Assembly went well anyway.

this is my first pellet smoker but i have been around people using them for years this grill gives a great smoke ring on the meat and keeps temp pretty much on spot so far I have only used this for 3 smokes so far but I am truly impressed with it if anything i would love a way to control the smoke by shutting a damper or something other then that this grill works great

I give it 4 stars just because is mandatory to complete the registration and haven't really used it yet. But overall, it looks good and was easy to set up! Some details on the process for the “before first use” are a little confusing and contradictory to some YT videos I've watched, but for now… It was a great buy for a first smoker.

I got this as an early father's day gift 2 weeks ago, since then I have done an overnight10.5 lb brisket and a 10.6 lb Pork Boston Butt. Of coarse did the YouTube prepping and my overwhelming vote on this is Fabulous, Fantastic, Awesome and any other wording that fits in that category. The clean up is a breeze and the pellet use on low and slow shocked me with how little it actually used. The build on this thing is like a tank, built strong and well. Would I recommend? With out a doubt ABSOLUTELY I would. Thanks for a well built unit Nexgrill. I will definitely be enjoying it for a very long time.

The Oakford 875 Pro is hands down the best outdoor cooking appliance I have ever purchased. The build quality is very good, and it is sturdy. I have cooked your backyard staples like, ribs, burgers, brats and they are great, but one of our family favorites is chicken breast. We also love smoking/grilling things like frozen pizzas and even apple pies. I love trying new food in it every chance I get.

This is our second grill the first one something was wrong with the touchscreen on the front. We're gonna see how this one works and hopefully it works out. Don't get me wrong all the food that we have cooked on. It is been awesome. I'm looking much more family night barbecues

The machine is beautiful and I appreciate the materials used to build it. Unfortunately, I'm missing the Grease bucket foil liner, Grease bucket and Meat Probe. Part #s 21, 22 and 23.
