After only one year old and the ice craft ice maker went out. Fortunately LG did send me a new and replaced it very quickly. They also said they would give me two new filters but they never arrived. Afterwards I went online and found out the craft ice maker is a common problem.

We love most everything about the refrigerator. 1 con is you do not have but one option for moving shelves around in the fridge part, could not put the pitcher I have in it and now I have a huge section and a very tiny one that barely anything fits in. I do love the craft ice option. It is summer need to hydrate. Though the other day an issue occured where there was water in the bin and the ice was not making, could have been operator error on that one and did figure it out myself. The knock feature is super awesome!

Had for a month+ and so far so good. I like the craft ice, but wish it made faster. Regular ice only available through the door dispenser, I would like to be able to grab a handful manually. Looks great and is a nice compromise when you have both black and stainless appliances. The drawer handles are at the bottom, I would prefer top, but not a deal breaker.

We have had this fridge for about 2 weeks, still getting used to it. There is a lot of open space. Not use to the way you have to pull out the drawers yet (from the bottom.) I feel like there needs to be another small drawer for lunch meats. But that is what I was use to on my old. Again lots of open space. Needs adjustable shelving though. Ice in door needs a larger capacity, even though I have used the craft ice space to store more. No problems, just trying to adjust to new features. The light up door was a perk. Just praying it will last a long time, expense price.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This model came with a house we bought, and while it's lovely to look at, we find that getting it open is difficult and that because there is no "grab bar" to pull open the doors, we get the front of the fridge dirty with our fingerprints and smudges. Also, a side by side design is difficult to access if you have wide shoulders.

Fridge performs well and looks nice. It was hooked up to electric and water supply, let the fridge sit for 30 mins to ensure no drips from the supply line, then pushed back into the surrounding cabinetry enclosure. 7 days later, we noticed the floor was raised up in areas near the fridge. we pulled it out and it was spraying from the water supply connection point. a company had to come in immediately and tear everything up and put in 8 units to move air and dry it out to mitigate any mold growth. needless to say, we have to replace half our subfloor, which means the top layer as well. during this process, we disconnected and reconnected the line 5 times to see if we could make it not leak. tried new fittings and gaskets 3 of those times. always leaks. it seems the housing you thread onto was very cheap and thin. i believe it has a crack in its own threads. It wasnt over torqued at initial install. Maybe the simple pressure/resistance from the supply line as it was pushed into place stressed it. its 2 months exactly from the date of purchase. i still need to get with LG to see if they will warranty or cover any of this. ive been dealing with the insurance claim and living in a house that has a kitchen with no floor. contractors finally started this week (good luck finding contractors to do a job immediately!). i try to stick with LG with most appliances, tvs, etc.. ill find out how good their customer service is this week. back to the rating. 3 stars because of the appearance and craft ice. it does have cheap thin "stainless" on it. already has 2 slight dings on the bottom front due to having to get so many air movers and dehumidifiers around it. got bumped by one and that happened. shouldn't have dented due to that. so, yeah, cheaply made, i bought an LG stove the same day and hope it is better built. ill find out when i have a kitchen again and get to use it.. im very disappointed and hope i can get this figured out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Where you love the double tap door so we do not have to open and close so much they ask maker is definitely a plus all the way around sometimes there’s a little water left at the dispenser could be something that we are doing wrong not sure yet but everything in our house as a LG product how are you like now is getting a washing machine? Is our goal Our dishwasher our stove our refrigerator our TVs our dryer for our clothes is all LG products relax one item that is a washing machine maybe if I win the $500 that will go toward a new washer machine we love LG products they cost a little more but they are worth the wait and they cost !!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my Thing Q Model a month ago and it is awesome. I love the craft ice feature because I love a good old fashion. The UV sterilizer was a selling point for me also. Definitely would recommend this. In addition, it's larger than most other fridges.

Initially it was a little challenging to level unit and get one door closed completely. Had to remove a rubber grommet on top of freezer door. But other than that, unit working nicely. Two types of ice is nice. It was also a tight fit on 36 in opening.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great refrigerator so far, only had it a month. Works good the only thing I would say is the craft ice balls aren’t really “craft ice” it’s not clear ice, good amount of bubbles in there. It more like regular ice in a different shape.
