Hello Stephanie! We appreciate you telling us about your LG fridge Craft Ice experience. Those spherical balls of icy goodness are the perfect addition to any beverage, so we'd love to help out! If you're experiencing a noise similar to a jackhammer from your Craft Icemaker, it's possible that the noise is normal operation. The Craft Icemaker has a motor for pushing the spheres from the freezing tray to the ice bin, You can find more information on the common sounds of your icemaker at http://spr.ly/6425SoQQh. If you still need help, feel free to reach out to us on social media @LGUSSupport with your contact info and model number. We'll gladly continue helping out! *Joseph
