[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I along with 3 other friends that have this fridge for some time now, have the same issue; Salty Craft Ice. If you taste the craft ice only, ice on its own, its like a salt lick. The water and other ice are fine. No reasonable explanation for it yet. Also the senthru feature seems cool until your condiments are blocking the view of everything else in the fridge.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The window is a bit deceiving. If you put anything on the top shelf that’s all you will really see. Also it would be nice if the unit came with more shelf options and additional dividers or soda and miscellaneous items holders

Bought this refrigerator a week ago. Agree with a previous review that even with the "Ice Plus" feature the refrigerator ice machines are disappointing. My main complaint is the door bins can't hold much without falling out and if you don't close the door gently the bins fall out. I had to silicone the top two bins in place just to address that problem. Other than that the refrigerator works well. The WiFi hook-up was not an easy process but when it finally took the refrigerator did a firmware update and the "Smart Things" app does well. I'm giving this a "3" rating mainly because of the poor quality of the plastic bins. They should have been a little stronger. I would not recommend this refrigerator for families with children that cannot be taught to just let the door close without controlling it.

I love that it makes two separate ice cubes! I believe that’s my favorite part! Yes it’s cool that you can knock and the light comes on, but honestly I think I’ve only done that once since having it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this refrigerator 3 weeks ago. plenty of room for everything. Looked long and hard for the right one. Finally settled o the LG. The only downfall is that I wish it would make ice faster. Couldn't be happier. Hope it lasts a long time!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fridge works like a fridge, seemed to take a long time to cool down even with preloading it with frozen food and some ice bags to get it going. Regular and craft ice took a long time to start production but seems to be going ok now. Nobody seems to really use the knock door, would have been better off getting the one with the camera so we could check the fridge while shopping. Working on a problem with the door bins falling out with LG, so we will see how good their warranty is.

A decent refrigerator overall but the ice & water dispenser is execrable. Whoever designed it should surrender their engineering degree. The ice flies in all directions if you don't seal your hands around the top of the glass you're filling. The lever to activate water flow hinges at the bottom instead of the top, such that the tilt of the glass sends water over the glass and onto the floor. Perverse!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased 11/03/21, Great refrigerator. Is very quiet and looks great. I like the no handle feature. I purchase this LG because my previous refrigerator was an LG, It lasted over 20 years and was still performing good. I replaced it because the doors wore out and would no longer close by themselves and seal properly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works great very quite and more space than the larger French Drawer we replaced this with. The lighted window in the door is more for fashion than practical use but I can see some people might find it handy such as baby bottle etc;. The ice maker is my favorite part as it makes as much or more than we use normally plus it also makes the large round craft ice cubes which are nice to keep drinks really cold. Ice and water are available from the freezer door however you do have to open the door to get the round cubes which are in a separate storage container at the top of the freezer.

We bought the first one and loved it so much, had so many compliments on it from friends and family. Everyone loves the sleek, clean and modern look of the refrigerator. They love the knock knock door to look into the refrigerator without opening the door. But what blows everyone’s mind is the two separate ice makers; one on the freezer door that you can fill your glass from- either cubes or crushed ice, and then the Craft ice inside the freezer that are round orbs of ice that everyone wants in their glass to drink from! The spacious interior provides lots of room to put my refrigerated items in and the drawers never allow my produce to freeze or feel wet. The clear shelves make it easy to inventory everything in the refrigerator and freezer for food preparation or creating a shopping list. And clean up is a breeze inside with just a wipe down throughout the refrigerator and freezer sections. When we sold our house this refrigerator was quite the incentive for the buyer along with our other LG appliances. When we bought our new home we made sure to order this exact model and had it delivered! We love this side by side refrigerator!!
