Good Looking but functionality could be better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The window is a bit deceiving. If you put anything on the top shelf that’s all you will really see. Also it would be nice if the unit came with more shelf options and additional dividers or soda and miscellaneous items holders

Great unit ~ Useful Features ~ -7 degrees Freezer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got this model because it has a lot of useful features. We really like the Craft Ice. It makes nearly perfect ice globes that melt much slower and are nearly crystal clear. And we still have the regular ice. Having the ability to see inside the fridge by just tapping on the front glass panel twice is a real useful feature and makes it so we are not standing in front of an open door looking for something. It took me quite a while to get it leveled and get the doors even. But I eventually got it just right. I had a very difficult time getting the freezer door adjusted at first. It would seal at the top and bottom but not in the middle but once I got it very close I left it alone for a couple of days and it eventually sealed all the way.

Great except….

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I along with 3 other friends that have this fridge for some time now, have the same issue; Salty Craft Ice. If you taste the craft ice only, ice on its own, its like a salt lick. The water and other ice are fine. No reasonable explanation for it yet. Also the senthru feature seems cool until your condiments are blocking the view of everything else in the fridge.

Craft Ice maker does not work.

This refrigerator is really nice, easy to organize everything. The ice machine is terrible. We've tried online troubleshooting and have not had success. It was really great when the craft ice machine worked everyone loved it. The fridge is less than a year old.

Hi Micks, thanks for sharing your experience with the LRSOS2706D refrigerator — we’re glad to hear you’ve enjoyed its layout and organization, but we understand how disappointing it is when the Craft Ice maker doesn’t perform as expected. This model features LG’s Dual Ice Maker with Craft Ice™, designed to produce slow-melting round ice for premium drinks. If troubleshooting hasn’t resolved the issue, here are a few steps that may help: Craft Ice Maker Tips Reset the ice maker: Press and hold the Test button until you hear a chime. This can restart the ice-making cycle. Check the water line: Make sure it’s securely connected and not kinked or blocked. Verify freezer temperature: The freezer should be set to 0°F or lower for optimal ice production. Clear frost or debris: Inspect the ice maker compartment for buildup that could interfere with operation. Run Smart Diagnosis™: If your fridge is connected to the LG ThinQ app, this feature can help identify issues. You can find more detailed troubleshooting steps here: https://www.lg.com/us/support/help-library/lg-refrigerator-craft-ice-troubleshooting--20153135622329 For any further assistance, feel free to DM us at @LGUSSupport. ^Rich

Good storage space,

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fridge works like a fridge, seemed to take a long time to cool down even with preloading it with frozen food and some ice bags to get it going. Regular and craft ice took a long time to start production but seems to be going ok now. Nobody seems to really use the knock door, would have been better off getting the one with the camera so we could check the fridge while shopping. Working on a problem with the door bins falling out with LG, so we will see how good their warranty is.

Love the craft ice maker!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this refrigerator 3 weeks ago. plenty of room for everything. Looked long and hard for the right one. Finally settled o the LG. The only downfall is that I wish it would make ice faster. Couldn't be happier. Hope it lasts a long time!!!

World's worst ice & water dispenser.

A decent refrigerator overall but the ice & water dispenser is execrable. Whoever designed it should surrender their engineering degree. The ice flies in all directions if you don't seal your hands around the top of the glass you're filling. The lever to activate water flow hinges at the bottom instead of the top, such that the tilt of the glass sends water over the glass and onto the floor. Perverse!

Love my refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the refrigerator 6 months ago and I love my refrigerator so much space, love that it makes two kinds of ice, it makes circle ice for drinks and the regular ice. Also it’s side by door freezer ones and regular on the other love. I recommend this refrigerator to everyone.

Great Features and lots of space.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works great very quite and more space than the larger French Drawer we replaced this with. The lighted window in the door is more for fashion than practical use but I can see some people might find it handy such as baby bottle etc;. The ice maker is my favorite part as it makes as much or more than we use normally plus it also makes the large round craft ice cubes which are nice to keep drinks really cold. Ice and water are available from the freezer door however you do have to open the door to get the round cubes which are in a separate storage container at the top of the freezer.

Best fridge we have ever had.

Going on a month now & it seems to be working just fine. Having the window has been fun, & of course the ice & water dispenser. I'm not happy with the taste of the water yet. I'm hoping it'll eventually be toy liking. The ice has seemed to taste reasonable. I put a thermometer in the door with a remote sensor in the freezer side. The fridge is set at 37 but the temp never gets below 42 in the door. But if I put the sensor in the back it's right at 37°. So the door usually sits around 44°. The freezer is right on 0° thru-out. Should I be concerned about the door temp where we keep milk?
