Stopped works for making Craft ice. Sevice person has come 4 times. Every time they need to order a part. Craft ice now works but the light when you knock doesn’t now. How in the world can the parts not exist or be on backorder if this is a new fridge. This has all been going on now for about a month and a half and still not fixed. not acceptable and definitely not good service.

Have been very pleased, had some issues with the craft ice maker. But customer service was great and resolved the issue. Working fine now. Very happy with the appearance and function of everything else thank you.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had the LG fridge for two weeks. There are mostly positives. We really like the slick, modern look. It blends well with our other non-LG appliances. The refrigerator side is very large and well lit. The freezer is smaller than our previous side by side, but it’s good. The craft ice is a great addition. The fridge pushes all the way to the wall due to the unique way the cord exits at the top. Lastly for the goods, it is super easy to clean on the front. Frustrating parts are just the inability to move the fridge bins (which mechanically makes sense due to the interior configuration), no butter/cheese drawer, and mostly only shelves in the freezer section instead of bins that can store more. The ice maker does take time to produce ice, but the craft ice supplements well. Overall, we love it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had this unit for about four months now. Everything works great except the icemakers. It has a door icemaker, and a craft ice maker. I’m having trouble with the craft icemaker. It pops loudly and no longer is it producing ice. The door icemaker seems to be slower than the previous LG refrigerator freezer that I had. I did call in and spoke to someone I think in the Philippines, which I had trouble understanding with the accent, and have no resolution at this time. I would like to have somebody come out and look at this unit so that I might enjoy it for years to come. So for me, the jury is out on the quality of this product. I have bought mini LG items in the past refrigerators, washer, dryers, etc..

This fridge is a terriblly designed product. I have now had 2 of the bins that are behind the door completely fail and fall off. The first time it happened, it shattered one of my glass shelves inside the fridge, breaking that drawer as well. I also ended up losing about 20 of my bottles of miscellaneous condiments that were stored in the shelf as well as an entire drawer full of fruit. The only decent thing about this fridge is the ice balls, especially since you will need to drink heavily after this fridge continually fails to do its job.

It has now been a month since I bought this refrigerator and I love it. Very spacious and I love the large layout and multiple shelves in both the refrigerator and freezer. The instaview is a nice to have but definitely not necessary however I do like the look of it with the black instaview window on the stainless steel. Personally I don’t see the point of knocking on the door to see inside before opening. The way to open the doors takes getting use to. I am accustomed to handles of course. Great purchase and would definitely recommend this refrigerator.

a few years we bought a new refrigerator and all we ever had were problems first ice maker quit and then the freezer went out loosing 500 in food waste but this fridge we love very much and it so much better we love the side by side and its so big we can get so much more food in there and the instant view is awesome and the big ice balls are great you make a every good product and we look forward to years of woeking together

We are so happy with the LG refrigerator. It is quiet, solid and has more room than I anticipated. In prior side by sides I couldn't see anything in the drawers. It is easy to see everything and I really appreciate the viewing door as well as the large ice cubes.
