Pros: LG makes esthetically pleasing products. Cons: EVERYTHING ELSE!!! I purchased a 4 piece LG appliance package several years ago, and THEY WERE GORGEOUS! Fast fwd several weeks, and the microwave started setting vegetables on fire. They sent a tech out, and they claimed they couldn't find anything wrong. Eventually, we ended up having to replace the microwave with a different brand. A few weeks after that, we noticed the dark grey finish began to peel away from the entire front of both oven doors. They said it was cosmetic and initially refused to repair it. We'd only had the set a few months at that time. Not even 5 months after receiving my appliance package, the ice maker went out, and the foods weren't completely freezing. I contacted the company several times. They sent a repairman who stated that the compressor was bad and needed to be replaced. Fast FWD 5 years, and we have gone through 3 compressors. And we lost THOUSANDS of dollars worth of food each time. We always keep a lot of frozen meats and vegetables in the freezer because I cook at least 3 meals a day; we don't eat out. I called so much trying to get them to be fair and satisfactorily repair the refrigerator that a female upper level member of management stated that they would sue me for harassment because they'd already sent a repairman to fix the issue and that it was no longer under warranty. I proved that this was a lie by jumping through hoops and providing documentation supporting the fact that my appliances were still under the one year warranty, and they still gave me a hard time. Long story semi-short, MANY people were having the same problem, and there was a class action lawsuit against LG. It caused them to find a temporary bandaid to appease the restless masses. Even after they sent a repairman who was supposed to address the issue of the compressors failing, it STILL keeps burning out compressors and is now ready for the scrap heap. THE ONLY WAY I'D EVER BUY ANOTHER LG APPLIANCE IS IF THEY WERE THE LAST MANUFACTURER ON EARTH, AND THEY WERE HOLDING MY FAMILY HOSTAGE TO FORCE ME INTO MAKING THE PURCHASE. DO NOT GET SUCKED IN BY THE LOOK OF THEIR APPLIANCES, YOU WILL BE SORRY IN THE END.

Neither ice maker works and no one seems interested in fixing it or bringing me a working refrigerator that I paid for.

We enjoy this machine especially the craft ice maker. . It did fail but LG did mail me s new one after going through the diagnostic flow chart with the call taker.

Ice machine will not produce adequate ice quantity. Slow as Christmas even when on ice plus mode. I literally have to go get ice bags to put in it.

We got it at a good price, it works amazing looks amazing. Having the option of two types of ice was a joy brainer in the purchase.

I love how deep the shelved are, i can put a large aluminum pan into the refrigerator. I love the craft Ice, it gives guest the feeling of high class drinking. Also, the vegetables trays are really deep and contain a lot of food. It was my main reason for buying it because I am vegan. And lastly the glamorous front tap door is a great upgrade to my kitchen. The refrigater is great the best I have owned food stays at a great temperature effortlessly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband and I were in the market for a new fridge and we researched everything. The LG was a perfect match! The side-by-side was intriguing as we were replacing a French door style. One of our concerns was if the freezer would hold a frozen pizza-and it does! The roominess on both sides have been optimal. The transparent door really makes one “keep it neat “ and we have a really good looking interior, if I say so myself! We have been very pleased with the standard ice and the craft ice, kinda fancy!! We would certainly recommend this fridge and are very pleased we purchased it!

Bought this fridge, waited 2 weeks for it to get to me for it to not work. I put stuff in it thinking it would work perfectly since it came to us new but instead it froze everything! I checked and it was set on 37 degrees which is manufacturer recommended setting. I turned it up to 43 degrees (as high as it will go and also not a safe temp for food) and I put a thermometer in it from my deep freezer to see if it was keeping temp. Within 20 minutes, the thermometer said 5 degrees with it set at 43! The freezer side was set to 0 per your recommendation and thermometer said it was -10, causing the water lines to freezer and be unable to produce ice or dispense water. This is the main purpose of a fridge is that the thermostat in it is accurate and functioning properly to keep food safe and fresh, it couldn't even do that. Returned this to the store and replaced it with a trusted brand.

At 1st it’s slow making ice but now I have more than enough ice. I love the instaview also I think that makes it sleek looking and love that there are no handles fit right through the door for delivery. The last fridge didn’t fit but I’m glad it didn’t cause I love this LG even more!

It is on the right side when you open the fridge and if you are not careful you can accidentally hit the settings and screw the thing up, such as stopping the craft ice maker from working. And when this ice maker is working it makes this horrible loud noise before "dropping" the ice into the tray.
