It is on the right side when you open the fridge and if you are not careful you can accidentally hit the settings and screw the thing up, such as stopping the craft ice maker from working. And when this ice maker is working it makes this horrible loud noise before "dropping" the ice into the tray.

The freezer section is roomy and easy to organize, the fridge section is actually very well thought out. The view window I incorrectly thought was a gimick I now use constantly to prevent opening the door. And the craft ice fits perfect in my hydroflask. The craft ice is also perfect for my scotch glass. Overall we love this appliance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had our new LG fridge for about a month and everything works correctly and it even comes with an instruction manual. Some brands only have online manuals. It took a day and a half to get get regular ice and craft ice. The craft ice is soo cute! The digital controls work good and I can set what temperature I want for fridge and freezer. I can't think of anything bad to say about it. We are very happy with our refrigerator choice.

Help, We just ordered and received this beautiful refrigerator this week. We cleaned out the ice and water and thought we were good. Then we opened the freezer door and the ice container fell when it was full of ice and broke one of the shelves. We had used the door several times in the last three days prior placing new items inside and had not touched the ice maker again and then this happened. Where would we go to buy a new shelf? How do we make sure the ice maker is seated properly when we had thought we had done so and come to find several days later that it can just fall down? Have no idea what to do from here. Can someone please email me back?

We love this fridge, we can find things before we open the door which saves money. Only one problem, the ice makers. The craft ice maker stopped working in December and one month later the door ice maker quit. The craft has been replace and is working well. We are waiting for the door ice maker to arrive. (on order).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After our French door style frig (which I can’t stand) died, we wanted a side by side and chose this model and are glad we did. If you love ice cold drinks and milk, this is the frig for you. I thought the wouldn’t care about the craft ice maker but actually like the round ice balls. It is massive as well on both sides. Hopefully, it lasts because we love it so far.

I am so glad I decided to make this purchase. Its a beautiful and is well made. Although, food has become expensive, I love to purchase, fill the fridge and organize the drinks on the door some can knock knock and see what we have available. It's just the best thing I have purchased.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this refrigerator a year ago and had no problems until last month when our ice maker for the round ice ball’s stopped working. LG repair man fixed our problem and the ice maker has been working again.

We had owned a LG Refrigerator for 19 years, no problems. We downsized to a smaller home in July and decided to purchase new refrigerator. We blame both ourselves and the salesman for not reviewing the features more thoroughly. We weren’t told about the round ice balls, so surprised when they started to dispense (loudly and slowly), not a useful idea in our thinking. Opening the drawers from the bottom, very unhandy. The glass front looked nice, but we’re constantly having to wash the fingerprints off. Finding milk, orange juice, etc, do not get as cold if put on the shelves behind the glass front. To say the least very disappointed in this purchase.

I bought this to replace previous French Door that had ice maker that stopped working properly after first year. Main objective was to not have indoor icemaker that was housed in refrigerator section. I thought I would have to give up in door water and ice, then I saw this side by side that at first glance looks like a four door. Knock twice on the glass panel of the refrigerated side and see what is inside. No electronics to worry about. Looks very GI tech. Has ice maker in the four of the freezer - but wait- it also has an ice maker in the freezer that makes craft ice. Big round balls of ice. Fun feature. So far so good.
