I love the look of the fridge. It’s just the two of us right now so the side by side has plenty of room. I like the feature of knocking on it and the light comes on. The craft ice is a bonus. LG is reliable and such a classy look. Very happy with my purchase.

I bought this to replace previous French Door that had ice maker that stopped working properly after first year. Main objective was to not have indoor icemaker that was housed in refrigerator section. I thought I would have to give up in door water and ice, then I saw this side by side that at first glance looks like a four door. Knock twice on the glass panel of the refrigerated side and see what is inside. No electronics to worry about. Looks very GI tech. Has ice maker in the four of the freezer - but wait- it also has an ice maker in the freezer that makes craft ice. Big round balls of ice. Fun feature. So far so good.

I have had my new gorgeous fridge for a few weeks now so I’m still getting to know it lol . I still miss my deli draw but made it happen with containers on one of the shelves , so I can make anything work and move on but when you get water it does seem to drip and leave a water mark which is no big deal I wipe it but for some it might be a deal breaker . The craft ice is a huge winner for me I even put it in my glass of water -some have said it’s loud when making the ice but I get excited I have new ones waiting for me ! so far I like the shelving and drawers waiting on my first holiday to really test it’s abilities , the door shelves are deep and hold a lot which gives me more space on the inside shelves . So far very happy with my new fridge .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Don't buy a Frig that doesn't have the new linear compressor. It's the quietest, most energy saving thing! I don't know why LG doesn't tout this improvement in refrigeration. Also - I love the side-by-side. I couldn't stand the little flap thing on my old frig that goes over when you close the left door. This has tons of room and the knock twice light-on feature is very cool. I can monitor everything from my phone app too.

I've had this refrigerator for a year and a half now. I love the size and the look. Everything's been working as expected except the craft ice maker stopped working. I called LG and they sent me a replacement ice maker without much hassle and included a water filter. I received the replacement the following week and it's all working again. I'm not completely convinced that the ice maker was broken though...I'm thinking that maybe if I unplugged it and "cleaned" it imaybe would have fixed the problem...nevertheless I really appreciate the ease of getting this problem resolved so quickly...zero cost out of pocket!

The led light that comes on when the water dispenser is cleaning is not needed, is obnoxious at night or needs a switch to turn off. The ice dispenser is poorly engineered for use. Impossible to catch all the ice in a glass so it goes on the floor. The ice dispenser is poorly designed. Do you test these with real consumers before you decide to make them?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a couple of weeks ago and love it!! My kids love to tap and see what’s in the fridge. This has saved us from them opening it up to see what’s inside a bunch of times. Love the craft ice feature to make my cocktail drinks a little fancier. Would definitely recommend this fridge.

I really like our new refrigerator. It works really well, but sometimes, I wish the door would get cooler. It's not as cold as on the shelves. And the craft ice maker is having some trouble. When it tries to 'dislodge' the newly-made craft ice, the unit clanks for about a minute, and then drops the ice. I've put in for a service call regarding this. But I really love this fridge overall. Would still recommend to others. (Would not get the see-through door, though).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got this as a gift a few weeks back! Not only is the craft ice amazing. The look is elegant and sexy in my kitchen. Only thing I wish they could improve. 6 cubes a day of craft ice. They really covered everything from a stinky fridge, with a built in air freshening system. Also the knock on the glass display to see what in the fridge, is a wonderful, energy efficient feature.
