Fridge performs well and looks nice. It was hooked up to electric and water supply, let the fridge sit for 30 mins to ensure no drips from the supply line, then pushed back into the surrounding cabinetry enclosure. 7 days later, we noticed the floor was raised up in areas near the fridge. we pulled it out and it was spraying from the water supply connection point. a company had to come in immediately and tear everything up and put in 8 units to move air and dry it out to mitigate any mold growth. needless to say, we have to replace half our subfloor, which means the top layer as well. during this process, we disconnected and reconnected the line 5 times to see if we could make it not leak. tried new fittings and gaskets 3 of those times. always leaks. it seems the housing you thread onto was very cheap and thin. i believe it has a crack in its own threads. It wasnt over torqued at initial install. Maybe the simple pressure/resistance from the supply line as it was pushed into place stressed it. its 2 months exactly from the date of purchase. i still need to get with LG to see if they will warranty or cover any of this. ive been dealing with the insurance claim and living in a house that has a kitchen with no floor. contractors finally started this week (good luck finding contractors to do a job immediately!). i try to stick with LG with most appliances, tvs, etc.. ill find out how good their customer service is this week. back to the rating. 3 stars because of the appearance and craft ice. it does have cheap thin "stainless" on it. already has 2 slight dings on the bottom front due to having to get so many air movers and dehumidifiers around it. got bumped by one and that happened. shouldn't have dented due to that. so, yeah, cheaply made, i bought an LG stove the same day and hope it is better built. ill find out when i have a kitchen again and get to use it.. im very disappointed and hope i can get this figured out.

I recently got my LG side-by-side refrigerator. I love the space in both the frig and freezer sides. The best part is that I can see what's in the refigerator without opening it. This comes in handy with a husband who used to stand there with the door open trying to figure what he wanted.

We are always having to use the ice balls in the evening, and some go without ice for supper. Therefore no ice for evening beverage. Old standup refrigerator produced so much more ice. Given three stars because I’m in the south and ice is pretty necessary to have cold drinks and water.

This is not my first LG refrigerator. I had the one with the 2 door open function that allowed you to get drinks, etc out without opening the entire refrigerator. LOVED THAT PRODUCT!! But can not locate a similar one in our area; so we opted for this refrigerator with the "knock" and see function. I simply love the simplicity of the look. It matches my other LG products in the kitchen perfectly. What I would change if given an option, is 1) to add a handle and 2) remove that hinge on the top of the door, if possible. This is a fairly deep refrigerator and the hinge just sticks up a little too high for comfort. And I love the sleekness of the look, but it requires you to grab the ledge under the door to open the refrigerator because there is no handle. I'm not a big fan. Once you start using the refrigerator, the practicality of not having a handle becomes clear. You can't come in with a bunch of groceries in your hands to put things up, etc and grab a handle with 1 or 2 fingers to open the door. You have to lower your hand and grab the edge of the door. This results in whatever is in your hands, sliding door your arm, hand, etc and hitting on the refrigerator door. Just my thoughts. I intend to have this refrigerator a long time, but I sure did LOVE the previous version more than this one.

More space in freezer than the more expensive models. Had small issue, but their services man fixed it up with no hassle or questions. Overall great value.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this not quite a month. The ice machine is doing great. The quality round ice machine is doing just great. This is a larger frig than my other. I have room in the doors for all my condiments which leave me more room in the frig to put left overs and other containers. I am getting used to the see through door. I also make other things like pickles and pickled onions that fit in it just fine. This is a great frig.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this refrigerator a month ago. All the features work fine. I am unable to connect this device to the phone app. I spent 40 minutes on the phone with the help team and they we unable to help.

We love this fridge, we can find things before we open the door which saves money. Only one problem, the ice makers. The craft ice maker stopped working in December and one month later the door ice maker quit. The craft has been replace and is working well. We are waiting for the door ice maker to arrive. (on order).

This is a great refrigerator from LG. It has the ability to self diagnose any problems and can be software updated via online access. Tap the glass twice and the light turns on so you don't have to stand there with the door open. Craft Ice is a great option when it works correctly. I had to have mine replaced under warranty because it stopped working correctly and was filling the bin with water instead or ejecting the ice. That is the reason for 4 stars otherwise it would have been 5 stars.

This refrigerator has been a nice addition to our home. I like the controls and easy access to items stored within. I like the added features like the craft ice. Having said that, the craft ice feature failed and had to be replaced. The replacement was taken care of in short order and very professionally.
