[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the refrigerator. The Ice making is the worst. We run out of ice often and then it does not make it again for days. With 4 different kinds of Ice you would think we would always have ICE! The door ice runs out everyday, There are only 2 of us in my home, myself and husband. Every time we have guest over- almost every weekend we need to buy bagged ice.

Have had this fridge for a little over a month and so far I'm liking it. It was a bit pricey but I got a decent discount. The bit I think I like most is how the cold air is distributed. My past refrigerators had air vents running down the back wall which always seemed to be getting obstructed by the food on the shelves. This unit distributes the air at the edges which seems to work better. In addition it has the door cooling system which help assure the airflow is reaching everywhere. Hopefully the app will help me know if I have a failure rather than finding a fridge that is too warm too late to prevent all the food from needing to be thrown out. Also I accidentally chose this model without door handles, but I found I love the handle-less doors. There are hand grabs along the tops/bottoms to open the doors. Its far too early to have an opinion on the long term reliability.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This refrigerator is awesome until it isn't. Quiet, easy to use, great ice production, balanced cooling throughout. IT stopped cooling in the sixth week of operation. We have been waiting for repairs for two weeks. LG set up service center for us. They are waiting for parts. After the parts come in they will schedule the repair. Can't say when. This is a refrigerator! The heart of the house. When?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this fridge about 2 months ago. So far so good. The fridge is counter depth but seems much bigger than our last one. We love all the different ice types as our family uses ice a lot. We haven't ran out of ice when combining all the different ice it makes. We like the compact door ice maker since it saves so much space. Only complaint would be lining up the doors. They are still not perfectly aligned and we have adjusted them to the max with the fridge being level.

Lovely looking and roomy, but critically flawed. Without a doubt, there is really nothing in this class that can compete as far as storage volume; however, it is not a safe refrigerator. This is now the second unit. The first unit could not cool below 42F in the upper compartment and 8F in the lower compartment and was replaced after 1 month. The replacement is only marginally better, 40F up, 0F down. What this means is that any time the door is open, the temps go well into the unsafe temps and remain that way for hours. Now after a month this new unit cannot get below 42F. The ice unit cannot maintain adequate temperatures and the ice begins to melt and leaks. I don't know if this is a design issue, or a manufacturing issue, but the problems are sufficiently bad that this second unit needs to be returned.

Bought this in June 2024 to replace a 5 year old LG. Love this brand, got the counter depth version and find there is plenty of room for the 2 of us, both the fridge and freezer. There are 3 ice options and I was able to turn off the craft and mini cube options until I was ready. Only thing taking a while to get used to is there are no handles like the old one. That is our only complaint!

Our French door fridge was delivered in January and we started having issues with the in door ice maker in June. Apparently, the fan moving cold air to the door ice was not operating correctly. It took a bit of gyrations to finally get someone out to replace the fan, but it has been replaced. We are on a "wait and see" mode at this point. For a 5-month old appliance, we should not gave to go through this already. Vfingers crossed.

Bought this refrigerator a week ago, I am very pleased with this refrigerator. The counter depth is great, there is so much room inside. The freezer has a huge amount of storage, with two sliding shelves plus the main freezer compartment. I went from a 22 cu. ft. top freezer to this 25.5 cu. ft. bottom drawer freezer and what a difference. I no longer have to stack things on top of each and move things around to get what I want. The three different ice makers is a huge plus. I first thought why would anyone need three ice makers but now that I have them, it's a big plus. This refrigerator is so quiet you don't even know it's running. The LED lighting inside is great. The sleek flat front with no handles gives the unit a nice appearance. I was not in the market for all the bells and whistles, I had to purchase what would fit through my door opening. I am so happy I got this refrigerator, I am highly pleased with this purchase.

The layout of our kitchen makes the counter depth refrigerator the best option. This does reduce the amount of space available, especially in the refrigerator. Space for taller items is somewhat limited. However, for me and my wife this is really a minor inconvenience. The biggest complaint we have is with the bottom drawer of the refrigerator. To pull open the drawer you have to open both refrigerator doors. It would have been good if the bottom drawer was split into two drawers. Aside from that, the motor is very quiet, the temperature is consistently maintained and we are happy with our fridge. We did need to replace the craft ice maker. Fortunately this happened while the warranty was still in effect. The repairman said this is a very common problem with LG. He also asked if we replaced the compressor. We haven't but there was an implied warning in his question.

I love my new LG French Door Refrigerator more than I ever thought I’d love an appliance. It is so user friendly, easy to clean (most are not). It has a wonderful layout and the 4 kinds of ice, including large ice balls, are the best. It holds way more than more previous one.
