I just bought the LG refrigerator that makes 4 kinds of ice. I am happy with the ice however not happy that the right side refrigerator door does not close properly. It appears there is no magnetic force to draw the door to close. The left side closes fine. It is the right side that continues to stay open about 4 inches. This is REALLY annoying. Is there any suggestions?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this refrigerator in April 2024, it was awesome until my craft ice stop working. Come to find out the water hose used to attach to the water line is too long and my spouse had to adjust it to get the craft ice and water working again from the dispenser. I love the refrigerator, but the only draw back I see is that you have to open both doors to pull out one drawer which causing air to penetrate the interior of the fridge which could cause problems later on.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Day #14 and I still like this French Door frig. The Craft ice is all-some! The light that comes on when you walk by, is great at night when you want a late night snack. It never makes any noise. The draws in the freezer section are the perfect size. I do wish the inside water filter work on the Ice makers as well as the water dispenser. That is the only reason I did not give it a 5 star rating. My fix for that was to install another inline filter, before the water connection on the back of the unit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love our new Lg French door, counter depth frig! The 4 kinds of ice feature is fabulous! We never run out when entertaining. I also like how it is laid out; much roomier and flexible than most French door styles. The outside does not have handles, so it very sleek, attractive and easy to keep clean.

Really great looking fridge with great features. Love the craft ice and the other types of ice as well. One thing I overlooked for measurements were the 4 inch thick doors. Where the refrigerator goes in my kitchen I had to remove eight inches from the hallway wall so I could get the unit closer to the wall and now works perfectly in my very small kitchen. The space inside is great and works very well. The adjustable shelf I like as well. It's easy to adjust as needed.

Even though I am thrilled with the diversity in sizes for the ice, the huge balls take forever to make. It took over 48 hours to make 3 ice balls! Also, the big door where the water and ice are, is too heavy at closing. I have to pay very close attention in closing it! The freezer capacity is quite small compared to a side-by-side model.

It's very sleek looking as it doesn't have handles so that took some getting used to. The craft ice cubes are a novelty but not really necessary and if I didn't have a separate freezer, it would be shut off to have more room for frozen food. The shelves had to be re-arranged as storing tall bottles can be problematic. Wish there was a butter shelf.

So much room and love the clear shelves and drawers which allows you to see stuff in the back. Best feature is the ice! We were always running out of ice with our old refrigerator. This fridge has 3 ice makers and we always have plenty even when we have company. And I absolutely love the mini ice cubes. They are my favorite. Would definitely recommend this refrigerator to anyone that is looking. We have purchase several LG appliances and have never had any problems with them

Have had this fridge for a little over a month and so far I'm liking it. It was a bit pricey but I got a decent discount. The bit I think I like most is how the cold air is distributed. My past refrigerators had air vents running down the back wall which always seemed to be getting obstructed by the food on the shelves. This unit distributes the air at the edges which seems to work better. In addition it has the door cooling system which help assure the airflow is reaching everywhere. Hopefully the app will help me know if I have a failure rather than finding a fridge that is too warm too late to prevent all the food from needing to be thrown out. Also I accidentally chose this model without door handles, but I found I love the handle-less doors. There are hand grabs along the tops/bottoms to open the doors. Its far too early to have an opinion on the long term reliability.

I love my new LG French Door Refrigerator more than I ever thought I’d love an appliance. It is so user friendly, easy to clean (most are not). It has a wonderful layout and the 4 kinds of ice, including large ice balls, are the best. It holds way more than more previous one.
