I've had the freezer for only a few weeks and so far so good. I like that the ice maker is in the door plus we get 2 more sizes of ice - the craft ice for drinks and small ice that makes it easy to put in my water bottles. We got the extended warranty to cover unexpected issues in the future. The 1/2 shelf is good for taller items and the design is ver intuitive. I'd recommend to anyone who asks.

We like the counter depth and no handles on this fridge which replaced an older LG fridge. We also like the extra sliding shelf in the freezer and the deeper door bins, especially as a lot of our bottles and jars don’t fit on the shelves. The shelves can be adjusted, but it would leave one shelf very shallow. I wish there was the functionality to turn off the door open alarm, however. I currently have it set to the maximum of 10 minutes. I also like the light for the handles which turns on when you approach the fridge.

Love everything about this fridge, though I did shop all brands and features before purchase. My only complaints are one of the vegetable drawers won’t open all the way without both exterior doors open, the exterior doors won’t align properly up and down but front to back as well so side on looking it’s noticeably crooked which is irritating for such a nice fridge..my old LG also did not align up and down as well. Also not fond of ice cube sizes, just a minor complaint. I am in love with the spaciousness and clean look of the fridge inside and out❤️ It’s only 2 wks old so I can’t comment on long term quality…so far I’m happy with it

My favorite are the golf balls. Never brought an appliance without physically seeing it. This is the first and I am so happy that I did. Don't miss the handles at all. Everyone that sees it is very impressed. I only wish the water filter filtered out the salt from my water softener.

I again needed counter depth and saw LG now offers a counter depth with full capacity. The counter max was a great choice for me. I'm pleased with the increased capacity. The model I purchased happens to offer 4 types of ice; crushed, cubed, craft, and mini cube. While I purchased the model for the capacity, I'm really enjoying the mini cube and craft ice. I'm very happy with my purchase. It's a clear upgrade from either of my previous units.

All that being said, all issues were resolved to my satisfaction. The only issue I may have is there are no handles. This will take a little getting used to. Plenty of room and good lighting. Very happy overall.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lurched three weeks ago. Love the space both in frig and freezer. Whoops, the ice maker hasn’t worked properly from the start. Only eight ball made. The dispenser partially froze up and the mini cube section is light on cubes. A service repair order has been placed and should be at my home in three days. I’m sure all will be rectified and we’ll be able to enjoy the Frig.

Overall this is a nice, spacious refrigerator. It's a bit deeper than standard "counter depth," so if you're looking for something sleek to match standard counters, this one will stick out a few inches from the surrounding counters and cabinets. The capacity is MASSIVE, it's well-organized, and the WiFi connectivity is nice. One major annoyance is the door open alarm. It starts beeping at you after 30 seconds, which is definitely not enough time to load groceries from a shopping trip, and there's no way to turn it off or change the duration. Maybe this is something that can be added in the ThinQ app later as an update, but for now, it's infuriating and we considered possibly returning the unit just for this annoyance alone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this refrigerator 3 months ago and have already had to replace an ice maker. The craft ice maker says it can make up to 6 ice balls per day, however it never seemed to produce that many. After 2 months of use the craft icemaker quit working altogether. Since we were well within the 1 year warranty, a new icemaker was covered. It was shipped to us quickly with easy self-installation instructions. We've had the new icemaker for one week and so far it is performing as expected. Hopefully this one will last. As for the rest of the refrigerator, it meets expectations. Nothing exceptional or disappointing to speak of. I do like the door cooling feature. It allows us to store our milk in the door rather than taking up space in the fridge. It has worked well and I haven't had any issues with milk going bad. I love the 4 icemaker options when they all work properly. Our children play sports and during the heat of the summer, we go through a ton of ice for water bottles. When all icemakers are working, it produces plenty of ice to keep us well stocked. The handle-less door was an adjustment. The first week my husband and I were both annoyed by the missing handles and we were tempted to send it back. However, once we got used to having no handles we're ok with it. I don't see the benefit of the PrintProof Stainless Steel. The finish looks just as nice as any stainless steel appliance, but it shows smudges and fingerprints just as much and requires cleaning multiple times a day. I actually think not having handles makes fingerprints more likely as you almost can't help but touch the front of the door to close it. However, the smudges are easily cleaned with a wet or dry cloth if you do it daily (or multiple times a day if you live with kids). We're keeping the fridge for now as it is functional for our needs and looks nice, but I would likely try a different version if we were to buy again.
