Looks good runs well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased unit several weeks ago and it has been doing everthing as advertized so far. It is very quiet which I like. The water filter location on door this filter is great as wife is short can reach this filter.

Things I don't care for

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like that we have a new frig! I like the ice cube options. Things I don't care for...the long produce door which means that we have to open both doors to pull out this drawer. The freezer has two pull out drawers, one holds two ice bins so its limited to using for other items and the other doesn't have much height so again its limited to what can go there. Otherwise the rest of the space is like a bottomless pit. Lastly, trying to adjust the settings gets complicated since there's not a easy to read manual with simply how to instructions. We're still trying to figure out the temperature control adjustment and getting the refrigerator balanced so it doesn't wiggle when closing the doors.

Hi, there. Thank you for sharing your thoughts on your new LRYXC2606S refrigerator with us. We're glad to hear that you're enjoying some of its features, like the ice cube options. However, we're sorry to learn about the challenges you've encountered with certain aspects of the fridge. We understand that the design of the long produce door may not be as convenient for accessing the drawer, and we appreciate your feedback on this matter. Regarding the freezer configuration, we understand your concerns about the limited space due to the layout of the drawers. While the design aims to provide organization and accessibility, we acknowledge that it may not meet everyone's needs. We'll pass your feedback along to our team for review. We apologize for any difficulties you've experienced in adjusting the settings and finding the necessary instructions. We recommend consulting the user manual for detailed instructions on temperature control adjustment and other features. If you're having trouble locating the manual or need further assistance, please feel free to reach out to us via private message on Social Media @LGUSSupport, and we'll be happy to provide additional support. —Mau

Great features! Lots of space!

I’ve been using this refrigerator about 2 months now and love it! There is plenty of space to organize the goods!! I love the long drawer and being able to adjust the settings on what’s inside. The smart panel is easy to read and use. The split shelf is convenient for tall bottles when the door is full. Love how the freezer drawers slide out when door pulls open and baskets are spacious. The LED lights give off the perfect amount of light when going in the kitchen at night. I just wish the door handles were on the front vs the bottom for the fridge. Aside from that, this is a great choice if you need a spacious refrigerator! I bought this refrigerator before any knowledge of a sweepstakes.

Love the Ice! Miss the Handles.

I purchased to upgrade a prior model as I was very excited about the ice feature, which has lived up to expectations. The pros are the space and configuration. The cons, which are mainly personal preference- at 5’9” I dislike having to bend down to open the doors each time. A notch in the door or handle would have been better. This would also help keep prints off the fridge bc every time you close the doors you must touch the doors, so I am constantly cleaning them. The notch in the freezer door collects fallen debris from the fridge. Unless you’re standing in front of it with the doors open it can’t be seen, and is not easy to wipe clean due to the narrowing of the the design. Although I can live with this. It also appears the temperature setting is off from the factory. Even after double checking there is no additional plastic from shipping covering anything, it’s cooler than what the digital thermometer reads - as the top shelf freezes the salads even though it’s set at 37. This caused the shelf attached to the interior door to unexpectedly crack when exposed to room temperature. It was replaced quickly and easily by LG, but still continues to freeze some items. All in all I’m happy with the fridge and haven’t run out of ice, but would prefer handles or a notch on the doors as to not bend down and eliminate the need to constantly clean.

A Great Choice So Far

We bought this refrigerator to replace a competitor product that had a fundamental design flaw. We could not be more pleased so far. The unit is quite spacious with many options for storage. It appears to maintain a consistent temperature in both the refrigerator and freezer. We've been enjoying the multiple types of ice - whether the convenience of the in door ice, the novelty of the craft ice in our drinks or the benefit of the mini-ice for when we load up bottles before a long bike ride. Plus the unit is incredibly quiet, especially compared to our previous refrigerator. Two things to note is that it takes a few days to get used to the lack of handles and that one side of the refrigertor stays warm, thus warming the pantry next to the refrigerator a bit.

Great Features

I bought this fridge in November 2023. We love the look and unique features, such as the glass window and air filter. We do miss the auto-stop water dispenser of our previous brand fridge. In March 2024, the PC board failed, and it took two weeks to replace it. It caused inconvenience, which prevented me from giving a five-star rating.

Verry roomy for a counter depth

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased a new LG because of the past excellent experience with this Company. The new refrigerator has lots of room compared to the old one. Because of kitchen size restrictions, we were limited to a counter depth, but this fridge has the capacity of a full-size refrigerator. No handles on the doors means there is now extra floor space to get past it. Controlling the temps and Icemakers with the Thin Q app is super easy and convenient. Love my new LG.

Love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my new refrigerator! I thought there wouldn't be enough storage space once I moved and needed a counter-deep fridge instead of a standard depth one, but this refrigerator has plenty of room! It does a great job keeping items cold. It even makes fancy ice cubes! The three tier freezer system makes it easy on the back. The trays for the fancy ice cubes do take up a good portion of the top freezer tier. If not making fancy ice, the trays are removable (or available to put other items in them). I would buy again!

Love it, but it takes a little personal retraining

We love the refrigerator. Our only issues are getting used to no handles. We love the look, but it will probably be a little bit longer until we are used to not having handles. Also, the doors are not perfectly aligned yet. We are not sure how to fix this, and now that the holidays are over, hopefully we can get that fixed. Just be ready to retrain your brain to reach under or over to open it. I think we're almost there.

Massive fridge, annoying constant beeping at us

Overall this is a nice, spacious refrigerator. It's a bit deeper than standard "counter depth," so if you're looking for something sleek to match standard counters, this one will stick out a few inches from the surrounding counters and cabinets. The capacity is MASSIVE, it's well-organized, and the WiFi connectivity is nice. One major annoyance is the door open alarm. It starts beeping at you after 30 seconds, which is definitely not enough time to load groceries from a shopping trip, and there's no way to turn it off or change the duration. Maybe this is something that can be added in the ThinQ app later as an update, but for now, it's infuriating and we considered possibly returning the unit just for this annoyance alone.
