Hi there! Really appreciate the 5‑star love. Sounds like that counter‑depth fridge is delivering the space, quiet performance, and ice you were hoping for. If you ever need anything down the road, @LGUSSupport is always here to help. #LifesGood ❤️ -Rich

We're sorry to hear about the metallic taste with your Craft Ice; I understand how disappointing it is when a key feature isn't meeting expectations. Since your door water and standard ice taste fine, this suggests the issue may be localized to the Craft Ice mold or lines. To resolve this, we recommend performing a manual flush of the Craft Ice system: locate the test button on the bottom of the Craft Ice maker and hold it for 3-5 seconds to force a cycle. Repeating this process 4-6 times (or up to 20 for persistent issues) can often clear manufacturing residues from the specialized molds. If the taste persists, please reach out to us at 1-888-542-2623 so we can look into further solutions for you!
