[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Applied to my lawn after 6 weeks since I planted the sods (that looked great by that time!) and after few days areas in the lawn started to dry out, some areas started to be sticky and burned looking. I now washed it from my lawn (hopefully all of it) and will not use it again.

The dog days of summer snuck up on us this year. We were away for all of July so when we returned in early August, our lawn was feeling the effect of not being watered and cared for during the hottest days of the year. It took less than a week for this product to liven up the grass again after applying it and watering over a few days. Since then it has been an easy task to maintain the green vibrancy of our grass. Definitely will be using Scotts lawn food again next year

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Scotts Turf Builder has always produced a thicker and greener lawn without burning. It feeds for nearly two months. Have tried other brands occasionally, but always come back to Scotts because it simply performs better.

I have used Scott's turf builder for 48 years and continue to use it. I seeded my lawn in August of 1966 and have had one of the best lawns in our area for 48 years. People stop and walk on it to insure it is real. They also take pictures of front yard as we have many flowers. I even won a lawn mower for having the best lawn in the Quad-Cities about 20 years ago. No need to use a weed killer as lawn so thick that few weeds ever grow in it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Like to use this consistent time release, non immediate watering need non burning product without weed killer as we have very few weeds & spot treating with herbicide liquid is more effective & economical.

I read the lable, I used a Scott spreader, used the setting as noted, my grass looks worse now than it did before I put it on, It has not grown other than the weeds, and the good grass that i had, looks as though it is Stunted, I am calling a professional Lawn Company

I have used this and many other Scott fertilizer products for years and the results are great. My yard is one of the best in the neighborhood and I feel Scotts has played a large part in helping maintain that stature. I will continue to use this and other Scotts products in the future.

This is the second year I have been applying Scotts 4 step lawn products. I follow the directions and application intervals. My lawn still has crabgrass, weeds and brown spots. Retailers give different recommendations for the 4 step applications which complicates the application process.

Bought this product and followed the instructions on the bag. The Instructions read to apply on dry or wet lawn. So I applied on dry lawn in the evening. My lawn now looks awful, the product burned my lawn. We love our small property and spend a lot of time with our flowers and grass. I am so disappointed now with my lawn. Back to trying to restore it,
