After my Mom asked her neighbors about fertilizing her lawn during the summer because it was really looking bad, and they told her anything that you put on now will kill it. I visited Scotts website and chatted with one of their advisers. They told me I could use this anytime of the year...they were right! after a little over a week her yard was green again. I ended up having to mow it it just about every week. Great product. Already recommended it to several people.

I used this product immediately before a heavy rain and I am very pleased with the results! It does not eliminate weeds, but my grass is much greener and thicker than before! My neighbour had a lawn care company come to his yard and our lawns are now comparable!

Great product to use to get your lawn season off to a fantastic start. After applying this product in late march, with lime to bring up the ph level after a wet winter, my lawn is the talk of the block. This product works so well my neighbors ask what is my secret. I tell them scotts fertilizers can't be beat. Want outstanding results? Dethatch, aerate, and over seed the area the same day you apply fertilizer. Water in at least once a day for two weeks, then sit back and watch the magic. Also a great product to use in the fall after you repair the areas that got torn up during the hot summer months.

Scotts is the ultimate best lawn food ever made there is none better I have used it for years and my parents and relatived always used Scotts. Miracle Grow also is wonderful I have the best flowers on the block or on my entire street every year. And Ortho again can not be beat all Scotts procusts are fantastic and the only thing I will ever use or recomend to anyone they cost a little more but you sure do get what you pay for. Scotts customer support also is great wonderful people.

At the beginning of the season I fertilized with a off brand crabgrass preventer. Then I power raked my lawn with a blade attachment. After I was done, I realized it had scalped my lawn. After a week my lawn wasn't responding to watering very fast. So I bought a bag of Turf Builder fertilizer and applied it to my lawn. Within 2 days my lawn greened up really fast and has grown back to normal. I don't know why I try cheaper fertilizers, but trying to save a little money in this economy, it doesn't work with fertilizer.

I apply Scotts® Turf Builder® Lawn Fertilizer every 2 months and my grass looks great even with the record drought we experienced in Texas last summer. I alternate Scotts® Turf Builder® Lawn Fertilizer with 2% iron feedings with every other one. We had severe water restrictions but my grass made it through thanks to regular Scoot's feedings and continues to look great. I can tell which houses in my neighborhood used Scott’s and which ones did not.
